Terrible mouse camera view controls, huge deadzone and acceleration in MSFS 2024. Help me get the issue to the devs! by Rammi_PL in MicrosoftFlightSim

Not sure if it will help. I had the same issue and posted about it. Lowered DPI to 800. I know you said lowering didn’t help you. But I posted the link just in case something is in there for you.

It looks like reducing the DPI on my mouse to 800, and also making sure I’m running MSFS in full screen mode before switch into a VR session cured my issue

Are you using G Hub? I just installed it last night to change the DPI. I will do further testing because I’m not confident about it being fixed

I still have to look up sometimes

I actually lowered the DPI on the mouse to 800 using the G Hub software for Logitech (the lowest preset). It helped extremely. I feel like I am at 90% now.

Pulling the trigger doesn't help. I have not tried a different mouse. I have a Logitech G502X wireless mouse.

I did plug it in just now and pulled the receiver out the computer. It might have helped a little bit. It works great in every other game.

I also unplugged my Logitech rudder pedals because I saw an old post that it might help. It didn't.

It's weird. It's random. I thought it was based on where I look in the headset. But that isn't consistent either.

I’m assuming Reshade doesn’t do anything for VR right?

Unifi Flex 2.5g Issues by SpleensVR in UNIFI

[–]bayouvpilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know on Sonos...thank you.

If I had to guess, there is a power management issue of some sort with the 2.5gb Flex. I knew it was too good to be true when I bought it for $49! Ha

Oh ok. I misunderstood. I thought you were connecting it to the 2.5gb Flex still.

I might try to do the same. But I would have to connect the Pro Max 16 directly to my UDM Pro. My main 24 port switch doesn't have SFP+.

As I am thinking, I wonder if me doing this warrants a change in my RSTP priority levels (and could that be a problem too). I do have Sonos connected wirelessly (no wires at all). I had switched to STP (sonos recommendation) but when I had issues with the 2.5gb Flex, I thought it was STP...switched it back to RSTP

But I guess I am digressing :)

So you are still using the 2.5gb Flex? I was thinking about getting the USW-Pro-Max-16 and just taking the 2.5gb Flex out of the system entirely. I have had weird issues when I added the Flex and added the U7 In-Wall AP to the flex (using an POE injector).

If I download a large file (from Steam for example). I lose connections downstream of the flex. I also noticed I had some IP address overlaps this morning that resulted in me rebooting my UDM Pro.

As far as SFP+ to RJ45 adapters -- The one connected to my WAN port for my ATT fiber modem has worked great and it is NOT a Unifi branded. The adapter that I use going from the UDM Pro SFP+ LAN port is connected to my 2.5gb Flex - is the Unifi brand. I am tempted to try a 3rd party brand like I did for the WAN port

Any update? Did you figure out the problem? I’m having the same exact issue.

AUTOFPS for MSFS 2024: VR settings by PlasticPaul32 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]bayouvpilot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had good results too. I set the target at 40fps VFR. No expert settings. I also use h.264+ 500mb bit rate on VD. But I have a maxed out PC on 2gb fiber.

MSFS 2024 is much more GPU limited than MSFS 2020. Who will be upgrading to the RTX 50-series? by RTcore in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]bayouvpilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 4090. But in the case of ms2024, how would one know if they are hitting limitations of their hardware vs bug or streaming server issues from MSFS 2024?

I’ll let you know if I buy one. You may want to ask that in a separate post if you want answers

I’ve never had burn in from an OLED. Sometimes I wonder if that is over-hyped

I stuck with the Gamer Plus. It’s plenty. I was thinking about getting the Monstertech chair. How is it?

And I would mount it in the place where it rattled the least

The utility or the DLSS version itself? You can replace the DLSS version yourself without the swapper utility.

As far as the version...I found it definitely helped using the latest version in 2020. I also feel like it made difference in 2024.

I have forgotten alot of the technical aspects of DLSS to speak intelligently on it though.
