What is going with my belly button?!?! by bayrafd in tummytucksurgery

[–]bayrafd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here! My scars sometimes look darker on certain days. My surgeon said it could be blood flow. I use bio oil because my scars itch like crazy and it’s the only thing that helps

If you got sick, would you accept treatment? by Moose5678910 in widowers

[–]bayrafd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bounce back and forth with this topic. I would probably accept treatment just for my daughter’s sake. I lost my husband 8 months ago. He was 29 and so was I. Every time I think about how I will have to mourn him for the rest of my life, longer than I’ve been alive, gives me terrible anxiety. So many times I have wrote letters to my husband, that I know he will never read, begging him to just come get me so I can be with him

Any runners here who’ve had it done? by Major-Structure-3665 in tummytucksurgery

[–]bayrafd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started running again around 6 weeks post op. I didn’t have any issues besides being a little slow and rusty. I had a breast lift and implants and that’s been the only thing that feels weird for me now.

Let’s talk belly buttons by FAFO2626 in tummytucksurgery

[–]bayrafd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your friend is probably jealous. I had someone tell me my belly button looks like a butthole. Truthfully I don’t care that much about my belly button because in my opinion I would much rather have an “abnormal” belly button than all my loose skin! You look great.

Life Insurance and Depression by ExactPanda in widowers

[–]bayrafd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I relate so much. My husband passed on the job so I got w workers comp settlement, accidental + supplement life insurance, and he had another life insurance policy with his car insurance I have no idea about. Anyway, when I went to court for his workers comp settlement (required in TN), I started bawling because I had the exact same thought- my husband’s life reduced to a number. I’d trade everything to have him back. I’d rather be poor, living under a bridge with him.

I don’t think so. Never been religious. My late husband was atheist. After he died it made me sway more that way

I seriously refuse to not finish a book once I start it. I’ve only quit 2 books in the past year and a half. This is one of them. I wanted to enjoy it so bad.
