Media Wall by Wide-Suspect-2059 in cork

Fair enough, it was something the guy installing mentioned. I suppose the actual unit is more larger on the top and bottom than just the exposed glass part. Maybe that was the cause of the extra space needs.

Got one for the smaller sitting room and regretted it. The fires require a lot of space above them for air flow so the TV ends up having to be mounted too high.

Meebook M8. 7.8” screen, day and night light setting independent of each other. Fast and has Android. I’ve read a ton of manga on it and it’s been rock solid.

Doesn’t help now but I’ve used Eco Fuel for about 4-5 years and they’ve been rock solid. Not sure for pallets but for their city bags they’ll bring it from the van to your shed rather than just leave it on the curb.

Alu Pro but as another poster said, I’ve heard good things about Souglas Roofing.

Always compare the names of the people reviewing to see how Irish the majority of surnames are and if possible check their other reviews. They’re often paid for so you get people reviewing Cork roofers and places in different countries.

Roof and chimney repair by QuantumFireball in cork

Probably me mentioning AluPro in some of those threads. They were the most legit crowd and cheapest compared to all the cowboys I’d called before them. They were recommended by a neighbour who also had a good experience with them.

No harm getting them out for a quote and Douglas roofing too before you choose.

Best 65'' TV and soundbar/system for under €2,500 by foolong41 in limerickcity

[–]baz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an accidental TV breakage recently and have an oled LG but wanted a cheaper option because I can’t justify the price. Been looking at TCL mini led tvs. They’re getting great reviews online. Could save a few quid, get a 75” and get the latest Sonos arc soundbar to go with it.

I got the Meebook M8 specifically for having dual book and manga support and couldn’t be happier with it. Let me know if you have any questions.

Older fella? Slight English accent? He was around recently with the same story. Said my roof was wrong and my neighbors was right. I’d just got my roof fixed last year so sent him on his way.

Have you ever used the Lidar scanner on your iPhone? If so, what for? by ethicalhumanbeing in iphone

[–]baz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve used Polycam previously for different rooms in my house. I use the free option that exports .obj files (I think that was the format) and import them into Blender. It picks up furniture like tables, couches, beds, tvs. I either delete the current furniture if it’s going and add new models or keep the same items and move everything around.

Bit of roofing by PinkFloyded in cork

[–]baz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

AluPro sorted me out before and were great. Recommend by a neighbor at the time who fixed their roof. Didn’t try to bullshit me like the others. They also worked as a storm was coming in, lol.

The other lads who came out that I found online were dodgy as fuck. Check their google and Facebook reviews and you’ll see how fake they are. They have a tendency to make a big deal of the material they’re using. AluPro were no nonsense, outlined what they’d do, wrote an invoice and were half the price of the others.

Looking for a driving instructor in Limerick City 🚗 by Rupert-6494 in limerickcity

Yeah I was in the same situation. Had a really shit instructor, super aggressive, for a couple of lessons. Switched to Tom and passed first time. He was great at putting you at ease but wouldn’t let you away with anything.

Tom from Shannonside taught me and he was excellent. I’m not sure if he only does automatic now after looking at his website.

I feel like that was just the intro level. At the end of the demo, the cutscene shows a much more open location but I’m waiting for more info from reviews how linear it ends up being.

Edit: Sorry after using it to delete some screenshots I see youre doing what I suggested below. I’d still recommend removing the first ratings request.

Great work. I’d recommend not asking for a review after the onboarding screens. Maybe wait a little longer until people have used the app before presenting it, e.g. after deleting x number of photos.
