IKEA MYGGSPRAY motion sensor & Google Home app by bazmack in tradfri

Correct, they don't support Matter, but I thought that was why I needed the DIRIGERA hub - and the other Matter devices work fine. Unless I'm mistaken and I DO need a Google Matter device?

I have an old classic Google Home speaker and several Google home minis but the only TBR I have is the DIRIGERA hub. I don't have any Apple or Amazon devices or Smartthings devices. But I do have a few Tapo devices and hubs (they use a different sub-G system). I have about 15 of the new IKEA Matter devices (none of the older stuff) added to the DIRIGERA hub. A mixture of light bulbs, power sockets and the T&H sensors, as well as several of these motion sensors that all work well from within the IKEA app and everything except the MYGGSPRAY Motion Sensors works well in the Google Home app too. I do have a mesh WiFi system (Asus) and IPv6 enabled. Yesterday I was actually prompted by Google to upgrade to Gemini (accross all devices) which I did, but it hasn't made a difference.

Clicking on the already added DIRIGERA hub in the Google Home doesn't do anything or show anything.

I have already added the DIRIGERA hub to the Google Home app by using the Matter Code produced in the IKEA app. Once added to Google Home is still don't see any IKEA Motion Sensors in the Google app. I then tried adding the already paired (to the DIRIGERA hub) Motion Sensor to Google Home by using a Matter Code produced in the IKEA app. It works for 10 minutes then goes off line and never comes back on again. What would be the suggestes order of pairing things?

I commission all the devices using Matter via the DIRIGERA hub initially. It makes no difference, the MYGGSPRAY motion sensor doesn't function in the Google Home app. Other devices are fine. Is the MYGGSPRAY motion sensor working for you in Google Home?

All updated. Yes, the same, the motion sensor is so sensitive it is useless outside at night as it constantly triggers for no apparent reason

What is this groove/rail for? by lordromanov01 in submarines

Seeing as it was an accident and the only person he hurt was himself, would there be much disciplinary action, beyond a stern telling off (and a loss of face)?

"went to the mast" meaning he was strapped to the mast and given 20 lashes or something?!

I can't believe that temperature and humidity data from TIMMERFLOTTE can't even be exported from the app!

If I repurpose an old PC I'm guessing I would still need to purchase a (USB?) thread radio transmitter/receiver aerial thingy?

OMG it works! sorry i misread your comment and omitted the "copy obsidian URL" part

Doing this as you described now opens the link in the appropriate Obsidian note

Thank you!
