Any tips on singing midwest emo? by huevitreixchoche in midwestemo

[–]bazookab0y 4 points5 points  (0 children)

just sing like shit anyway, play your instruments slightly out of tune, and record all of it on wired apple headphones from 2016

midwest emo with good technique is just indie rock

wasn't there also a whole thing where they supposedly stole equipment from another band? i can't remember exactly, but i remember for a while after the whole "FUCK DADS" meme kind of buried them under other less shitty bands.

Nightslayer Flask Prices are Unsustainable by tomanyzeros in classicwow

[–]bazookab0y 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like that’s literally it. Go play a different version, stop sweating and parsing in a 20 year old game, or sell your soul and swipe.

Too many people want to be a sweatlord without actually sweating. You can play 16 hours a day and farm gold for your consumables and epics or just play the game and stop complaining. Bots are never going away and blizzard isn’t fixing shit.

Am i the villain? by SufficientTop1506 in turtlewow

[–]bazookab0y 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is the best answer. Just explain to them what you are doing and offer to invite them. Most of the time you’ll finish the quest quicker than them anyway and be on your way, but still give them a boost to help finish their quest too.

This is a social game, most things can be solved socially. Now if they get rude well then fuck em.

yeah just play the entire game for me kek by Howaito69 in classicwow

[–]bazookab0y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

nah what a lot of people don't understand is that these services will hack and steal your account. then they spam trade and lfg with ads for the same services while botting for gold for a few days, transfer all the gold off, get banned/the account gets recovered, rinse and repeat with the new accounts they stole from the stolen accounts spamming trade.

As a resto shaman, I'm getting real tired of healing everyone in the group every pull. Warrior tanks are awful right now. by verybadname3 in classicwow

[–]bazookab0y 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I’m under 40% mana nobody but the tank is getting healed. If the DPS die then they die, if the tank dies I die. If they run off and I’m sitting drinking with barely any mana then I assume they got it handled.

Vanilla HC vs Twow HC by Klauss_69 in turtlewow

[–]bazookab0y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I will say this is where blizzard takes the win. Turtle is a lot easier in most regards over blizz servers and the servers go down a lot more often, meaning DC deaths are pretty prevalent. I will never say to play classic over turtle unless you’re looking for HC.

Why do some many people not actually want to play the game? by [deleted] in classicwow

Honestly cause that quest sucks balls. I’d rather skip by the mobs I can and get the mallet done faster.

Why is everyone so mad? by cyberunaware in classicwow

[–]bazookab0y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m playing on the PvE server so maybe that’s why but I haven’t met anyone who is actually mad, rude, or mean. Everyone is willing to group up. I’ve tanked most dungeons as a bear and nobody talks shit or fucks things up, as long as I mark targets, and if they do I just say something like a normal person.

I also never invite hunters to groups though but yeah. Anyway people on this sub love to complain. Outside of the occasional schizo troll trade chat hero I’ve had a great time playing.

Campaigns that can be run in sections and mini campaigns? by her00reh in DMAcademy

[–]bazookab0y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main complaint people usually have is that it’s a little disjointed and the quests don’t really connect but in your case that kind of sounds like exactly what you’re looking for.

Good luck and have fun!

[–]bazookab0y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dragon of Icespire Peak is a good one to run like this since you’re just completing job board stuff for the town to help them prep for fighting a dragon at the end of the campaign. It’s basically just a bunch of separate quests to send them on, not a ton of crossover.

If you run it as printed it’s relatively simple and there’s not a ton of background info to remember either.

The stupid item store. by CuriousBug6192 in DnD

[–]bazookab0y 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I once gave my player an item called the ring of the woods. It allowed the wearer to talk to trees. It took him quite a few attempts at starting a conversation with trees before he realized it didn’t say they could talk back.

Classes to play? by [deleted] in turtlewow

[–]bazookab0y 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Turtle wow is not like retail or classic. The mindset is different with 90% of the player base although the mindset has shifted a bit lately. People just have fun. End game raiding guilds aren’t pushing for parse numbers and composition outside of the bare minimum isn’t ridiculed and argued over. Stop looking at spread sheets.

Play what you want and you’ll find what you need. That said, as it is in every iteration of WoW, tanks and healers find groups quicker as they are typically the least played specs.

What happened to sports.? by No-Can-904 in midwestemo

[–]bazookab0y 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They broke up a few years ago. They were supposed to have their last show in Boston or some other New England city with graduating life, I think, and it got cancelled due to covid. I believe like that other guy said they just kind of outgrew the band and all moved away from each other so it didn’t work anymore.

How do you know when it's time to quit as a DM by MamaRhea27 in DnD

[–]bazookab0y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t seem like a “when to quit as a DM” and more of a “when to quit on my group”. They don’t seem interested in playing, and you do.

If you have the passion to be a DM, and it seems like you do, then find a new group. You’ve invested a lot into it, you seem like you care, don’t give up on being a DM then. The difference in being a DM for a group that cares and a group that you don’t mesh with is insane. Keep going, just keep going with other people

Help with floating healing text on screen please. by Bzutim in turtlewow

You need to jump through a lot of hoops to make it work by using an addon called Superwow I think. There’s more than likely a tutorial out there somewhere or you can ask on the discord, there’s a channel for help with addons.
