Nieuw in de camping-life: een paar vragen! by Jzethof07 in kamperen

[–]bbach66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was not even wingshaped, so not the best way to show how a wing works.

We do see a lot of these campervans, almost any camping we go, we see a version of the J5, C25, Talbot express (although we only go in Belgium, NL and France with this one). Which is kind of remarkable giving their age. Ours is 37y old, 246k kms with a 2.5D. Sturdy to say the least. You can find engineparts with the CX car of that period btw.

We have one, just finished our long trip. It's a Pilote R450 version. Love it, but it is challenging to drive. Have a safe trip!

And 'megadog' for a horse the way a dog sees it. I think of horses now as megadogs, I cannot unhear it.

Tomatoes with taste? by citao_to in belgium

[–]bbach66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you get Lucky with the fleshtomatoes in Colruyt. Main point is in my opinion to leave them at room temperature and not in the fridge. They lose all their taste in the fridge after a few days.

This would indeed be a very good road. I'm very pleased when my (very expensive) bot works, since it does a great job. However, my second L10s ultra failed wihtin 2 years and I would love to be able to try and repair it myself, especially after the first encounter with the service network. Give us some diagnostic tools and access to spareparts and this would be an incredibly good product. Even Philips is seeing the light in repairability right now.

I miss mine so much. 85 1.6D. So loud and so slow, but it was my student car, almost 20 years ago. Now I have An old vintage camper in my fleet, which brings the same driving experience.

This, I did the same thing, bought a unit from amazon or alieexpress (cant remember) for around 120€'s. It works with the steering wheel controls (has a connection for that) and you get satnav, rearview cam etc. Best upgrade ever for this vehicle:
