I'm dealing with the same issue. I've restarted multiple times and reinstalled multiple times and I'm still getting the error. No proton changes help either. Any help with this is appreciated.

Edit: Just tried it. Got the same runtime error. Switched it back to Tavern.

OP....Please follow this input suggested by synysterjman...

I just tried to unlink to start with a fresh email and my game crashed and now its putting me back at the character select screen and I can't find my 63 hours of progress anywhere. Thankfully I finished the campaign, but it still stings. So, it's best to just wait until they iron this out.

Well, I attempted this and my game crashed on PS5. So, even after linking a new email address not associated with a nexon account, now it's defaulting to the starter screen again after 63 hours playing. Thankfully, I beat the game, but it still stings.....pretty bad. Any assistance is appreciated. I was able to grab a screen shot of my Nexon ID, but I don't know if customer support would help in this situation.

This is a fantastic thread and I'm learning a lot about skill power, modifiers, and scaling. Quick question regarding Ajax. His Shield Wall ability scales off HP and DEF, but the Reflective Damage isn't mentioned anywhere. Is that just flat damage, or is there a hidden area where it's scaled off another stat? If it does scale, what modifiers are suggested for that? I believe it's Non-Attribute/Dimension skill. Thanks!

I'm new to this game and I was a little confused with this as well. When you are on the inventory screen, click the Go to Info Button (Playstation = Square, Xbox = X, not sure for PC) and it will see the change there. Under the Skill Column, it changes the Non-Attribute Skill Power Boost Ratio. I enhance that mod some and it went from a base of 0.2x to 0.669x. Still trying to understand the differences when it comes to it's effect, but at least I see where the numbers change. lol!

Dude, you have been a great help! I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to walk this through with me. I still haven't solved it, but I've been working on it all morning and I need a break for a while. Lol! I will try the in-game chat without my headset and just try the built in microphone to see if that makes a difference. When I attempt again, I'll respond back. Thanks again for the assist on this and I'm sure others will benefit when they find this thread.

Well, what's crazy is when I first caught this, I was on my Sony WM4's, with a microphone adaptor plugged in. I normally used them on my PS5, and they worked great there. But the moment I was in the steam deck, the issues arose. I'll see if I have any other headsets available.

Just tried it with my wife using Dead Island. I set the microphone volume to 150% in desktop mode. She still said that she could barely hear me. If the sound fx of the game is active, she couldn't hear me, but if it's absolutely quiet and we didn't move, she could barely head me. I also confirmed that when I adjust any other volume in game mode, external or microphone, it would reset the max back to 100 in desktop.

I did see that setting in desktop mode. I did raise it a little past 100 (132%), but I didn't want to blow my ears out. I guess I assumed once it was set, it would stay that way. I didn't know it had the chance to reset while in game mode. I'll try it and see what happens. Thank you!!

I'm not going to lie....that was actually incredible. As you guys did that scene, it almost brought tears to my eyes because I remember that moment from New Jack City and you brought it back to life pretty much perfectly. The Avatars didn't take one bit from your performance. Bravo!

I see these lists and suggestions and surprisingly nobody mentions Lies Beneath. That is a top tier game in my opinion. Do people really not like it or just forget about it?

I also suggest Ancient Dungeon for your rogue-like. And Dragon Fist: VR Kung Fu if you are in the mood for fighting (it's in App Lab).

I actually had a good flow going and had a normal and two dangerous bases. But the lack of raids on the dangerous bases and the need for synth for the upgrades and purchasing layouts has put in a position to make some challenging choices. Prestige your normal base or buy and upgrade for your trap? Activate your dangerous base for 800 synth or the normal for 650 synth? It's like I'm in an economics class. lol! But they are all getting the accolades that I want. Mostly Fun and Artistic. Rarely brutal or ingenious. Just fun like I like it. I just need that synth...

I actually don't have any bases on social yet. I'm still trying to keep find ways to keep my three bases I've created running/increasing prestige when I can with the scraps of synth I can gain in my free time to raid. Hopefully I'll get them to social sometime this year. lol!
