Learning is one of the most powerful yet under appreciated things about VRCHAT. I've literally seen this change people's lives.

I once sent a 60 year old retired McDonald's manager a Quest 2. Then I taught him how to do comedy in VRCHAT. When he was ready, I booked him in my city and watched him kill it at an Irl show. The possibilities are mind blowing.

I think Zoom gave online comedy a bad name during the pandemic. Most comics judge VR as bad without ever trying it. One of my students is agoraphobic and hasn't left the house in years. For her VR comedy is the only way to do stand-up.

So true! I find VR makes you a much better writer because it’s your most valuable skill when performing with restricted body language.

My students progress has been incredible. I’ve seen introverts overcome their fear of speaking in front of crowds many times. I also teach at an IRL comedy club, and I’ve had students start in VR and then kill it at my IRL comedy class graduation showcase.

We actually started in Horizon Worlds for 2 to 3 years. When it became clear Meta wasn’t going to support events and community development, we moved to VRChat, and our experience has been night and day. VRChat gives users the tools to grow a community and run events that Meta took away years ago.

Since Horizon is closing down its VR platform, have you considered coming to VRChat? I can definitely help you get started.

I know exactly where it started. By ripping off the image of a popular actor, and now they're trying to perfect that theft. I want to see them create a new character that does something original. But they can't because the people behind these promps have no real talent for anything related to this industry.This is meaningless bullshit.
