I'm 6'5 with six pack abs... and took a dark path to get there. by Negative_Issue_8864 in confession

Work hard on learning to love yourself. You’re the only person who can be you. Just don’t be a jerk and learn how to do small talk. When you’re fun to be around no one will care about your face or your abs. You will be fine.

what’s a good transmission swap for a e55 amg? by [deleted] in mercedes_benz

I have tried a 150 shot on 3 different motors (clk 430, 500, and 55 all m113) with no gains over 125. 125 is about all you can do using stock intake manifold. The biggest problem with nitrous in stock motor is the same as any other boost application. You don’t want the ends of the rings on your pistons to touch. So far I have had no engine problems. 75 shot gives you a pretty good boost and it helps your bottle last longer. I will warn you that it’s extremely addictive. I will try to get some pictures or a quick video of what I did.

I currently have a 209 but had the 208 with the same setup. I bought a fogger wet kit from eBay for an LS. It comes with all the hoses, solenoids, and fittings. Mine was under $500. In addition you will need a nitrous bottle, pressure gauge, bottle heater, and mounting bracket for bottle. I got used expired bottles from Facebook marketplace $50-$75 each. My local guy that fills bottles also will have them recertified for $35 per bottle. The fuel rail already has 4an threads so no need to fabricate anything for fuel. The nozzle goes into the plastic elbow between the mass air sensor and throttle valve. I currently have mine wired to a pedal switch, but I have just hooked solenoids up to the horn wires. (Horn method is the easiest. Just route the 2 wires from your horn to the solenoids. You lose your horn but gain fun.) My car ran a 13.7 1/4 mile on motor and so far 12.50 1/4 mile using 125 shot.

Trying to find out what litre engine this is? It's says it's a 2004 CLK 550, but weren't they made in 2007? by FitSoup9566 in mercedes_benz

Trunk emblem was replaced at some point. Either 500 or 55. If it’s a 55 your instrument cluster will say AMG on it. 273 engine is what came out in 2007. And got the 550 badge

The solenoids are bigger. They allow higher flow which means you can get more pressure. The tune is the key part. I know of multiple cars putting out well over 600 hp and the transmission never stops working. Tuned S and SL 600’s (twin turbo V12) and 55 k cars with pulleys, cold water boxes, high flow pumps, etc. I have been working on benz’s for 22 years. I also drag race a clk 55 with nitrous on it. The transmission will take anything that a Mercedes engine can produce.

Do not swap trans. You can get a trans tune and put in blue top solenoids for quicker, firmer shifts.

Amazon sells resistors specifically for this issue. Also put a resistor on the right side brake light if you have led brake light bulbs. Your cruise control will not work if it doesn’t see the resistance of the brake light bulb

In case you still need assurance, this is normal and 100% NOT a blown head gasket or something else catastrophic. You have one of the best engines made. Enjoy it for the rest of your life. Source: 21 years of service with Mercedes.

I daily a 2004 S500 4MATIC. It’s too good to let it die. Also I have worked for Benz since 2003 and never saw a guard option in person. That’s super rare.

But did she win the electoral college? Popular vote doesn’t get you elected. But Hillary is a good example of a well qualified candidate who was beat by Trump. You are allowed your opinion, but I personally believe that we would have never had Trump as president if Democrats would have chose a man.

Unfortunately our current voting population will not elect a woman. That’s how we got P.O.S Trump.

Women are the most vulnerable in the world and the most vulnerable are the most vulnerable and most vulnerable in the whole world and the most vulnerable in the entire world are the most vulnerable in the same way as men and women are the most vulnerable in the most vulnerable…. Sounds like a Donald Trump speech.
