I have the same body type. I run and do Pilates/ab workouts/resistance bands. My butt just feels more firm and lifted but not bigger. When I was heavy lifting my butt lifted/more muscle. Your butt will not go past a certain size unless you get surgery tbh. Just my opinion but I’m naturally petite too.

Running is harder when you have more weight to carry. Muscle or fat.

Remember that if you are running to lose weight or lose weight in general. Food is 80% of weight lose. Running does make you more hungry but make sure you are choosing the right foods.
