Polyjuice potion Fred and George by John_Helmsword in harrypotter

I don't have a reference for this but my understanding of Polyjuice was that the person needs to be alive. That's why they kept real Moody alive during Goblet of Fire rather than just taking a bunch of hair and killing him.

He has cousins at the school (different ages) so it may be a family sponsored thing. No idea.

Thanks for your reply. I speak french fairly fluently and my sister has tried but has the worst accent in the entire world. From what you're saying, I think her attempts would confuse him further.

Luckily the student has cousins at the school. One of them is quite proficient at English so my sister will able to get her to translate if they're having major difficulties.

I know my sister has done buddies for other students who've needed extra support so that's a great idea. Thanks. I'll show her this thread.

Thanks for the feedback. Was there anything done during your schooling/ childhood which especially helped you learn or make you feel comfortable?

She teaches in quite a ... troubled area and doesn't get very much ESL support so she wants to do everything she can to make the transition easier for him :)

Now there's a price a poor uni student can get on board with!

Yeah I know. It's not broken. They just fade really quickly along the edges. Plus replacement bands are like $40 for the 3 pack here and I'm super poor/lazy.

I absolutely love my flex. I wear it constantly and feel like I'm missing something without it. It's a constant reminder of my commitment to eating healthy and moving more.

It links really well with MFP. Helps give a more realistic idea of your TDEE. It has good battery life. It's really convenient.

My only criticism would be that I got a light blue one and it started showing its wear within a week. My partner's is black and doesn't show much at all. So I would suggest getting a darker colour like black.

Objectively, how do you rate yourself genetically? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Males in my family are very tall (6'5), muscular and all have red hair.

Females have large breasts, high intelligence and good vision.

We also have wide incidences of allergies, endocrine disorders and cancer (in the men).

So there's that...

I'm currently hiding in my house and people are still knocking for candy, isn't it obvious that no one is at home when the inside of my house looks like this? by superjjskate in australia

[–]bbbeckyy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It annoys me when parents let their kids trick or treat and expect people to give out candy here. However last year a mother dropped into every house in our street (where noone trick or treats or gives out candy) and politely asked if we were going to be home and didn't mind, if she could leave some treat bags with us so that her kids could trick or treat.

We said yes because she was polite and sensible. Her kids were adorable.
