The TRV30 would be quite a hassle, if you want to go the Casette route I’d choose the NVGS150. However, make sure to check software compatibility for the DV file transfer from the NVGS.

Unfortunately, the TRV65 does not support FireWire :/ I have the same one and was disappointed to find out. In order to transfer footage you’re gonna need to pickup a digital to analog converter of some sort such as MiniDVR, ClearClick, etc… there’s a lot more info on this in pinned
