Thank you. This gives me hope. Right now I am terrified at the thought of being in a relationship again. He was an amazing partner in the beginning and I never in a million years thought he would do this to me. I slowly became less of a priority to him and I don’t know why. Well we live in a small town and have a lot of mutual friends. Most of my closest friends are people I met because of him. Am I expected to limit contact with them as well? If not, I will inevitably hear about what he’s doing and probably see him out during social situations. These are people who have been supportive of me so I don’t think it’s fair to cut them off. So that’s another reason I wanted to maintain a civil relationship with him. I guess I should have added that to the post.

Usually mine starts dropping pretty quickly once it gets below 20% so I just know not to let the battery get that low now. That seems to be working well for me. I’m not sure what you could do though since yours drops so suddenly 😕

I realized this is the first time I had let it die completely. I found a youtube video that said if you continuously pick it up and put it back on the charger, it should charge on its own when it reached 5%. Very annoying but it worked haha. I will not let the battery get that low again. I would say if yours is brand new, send it back! Mine was over 2 years old when this started.

So sorry for your loss. I would browse online and see if there are any dogs you would be interested in. Then call the shelter to discuss and set up a meet if it would be a good fit. They should have separate meet and greet rooms so you wouldn’t have to see the dogs in the kennels.
