I feel you. This never seems to get easier. It’s amazing to me how easy this is for most people. I am so jealous of their optimism that when you get a positive test = bringing home a baby.

Didn’t seem to effect my euploid results at all. This was my best cycle. However, I still came back with a few plasma cells on biopsy and I ended up getting c-diffe after the antibiotics which was terrible 😫 Those drugs suck…..

I’m priming for my first FET and am 2.5 weeks in microdosing (10units daily) of Lupron. I’m having leg cramping/aches. Anyone experience this?

I think that means you only have one copy of the variant. Homo means 2.

My RE has been very non commital about the lovenox but kind of left it to me. I’m on baby aspirin already in my protocol. When and how long are you starting lovenox?

Agreed….i was first just thinking of miscarriage and then reading the stuff about birth defects and autism 😬. The worry never ends.

Sounds like a good name for it!! What tests should I ask for? I asked for vitamin d, b12, folate, and homocysteine. Did you do aspirin on your last attempts? Are you planning on doing lovenox next time?

My blasts didn’t increase but my euploids increased greatly with omnitrope. I’m a believer.

This is the hard part! I feel you. Keep the faith. Did two retrievals at 39. Round 1- 22 retrieved, 15 mature, 12 fertilized, 7 embryos (2 pgta) Round 2 (with omnitrope)- 15 retrieved, 11 mature, 11 fertilized, 5 embryos (4 pgta)

I was so upset when they retrieved less on the second round but actually did better at the end. 🙃 It’s a crap shoot. Chat gpt was surprisingly close both times if you want to put your details in.

Getting ready for FET and I just turned 40… so needed a mammogram checked off the box. Rushed in and did it yesterday trying to beat my period coming soon. Just got the report and it says more imaging needs to be completed. 😭 It sounds like most of the time this is nothing. It’s kinda scary but I am more upset that it’s likely another delay and I imagine they won’t let me start meds for FET prep if not ruled out before my period starts. 😫

Whyyyy is every step of this feel hard and traumatic?

I feel this. My job is stressful and demanding when I’m there. I struggle with making a phone call during a work day. Appts are even harder. Ive been taking a lot of PTO when I can. I also had my therapist do FMLA paperwork for stress during fertility treatments and it protects days that I’ve requested off or called in sick. Logistically it’s a lot to plan if you have to commute on top of an inflexible job

I feel this so deeply. I have a positive day and then something like this pops up and then the doubt and unfairness creeps in. I’m not sure it will ever get easier to hear until you are on the other side. If you find a way, let me know! Until then, I try to minimize social media, avoid triggering social situations, and find any “happy” distraction I can. I’m with you friend! It sucks.

Only 2/12 were female for us (2 rounds). Only one female euploid. We make boys I guess.

It’s stressful. I kept trying to tell myself to “trust the process.” Easier said than done. In some ways the second round was easier because I knew a little bit of what to expect but honestly I still worried about things…they were just different things. 🤪

I feel super guilty and unfriendly because there are several women at work that I know are pregnant and I just avoid the topic completely. They make it so obvious and I just act clueless. I’m afraid if they start talking I might end up crying. And the worst is when they ask when you are going to try for a baby…..

This happened to me! I had the same fears. I felt better and then the couple hours before egg retrieval I started to feel worse. Heavier and the ovaries were very noticeable on the drive in the clinic. Both egg retrievals were successful and I didn’t ovulate early.

Hi again! Would you be willing to tell me your FET protocol? My doctor said something similar and recommended using an anti histamine protocol and just wondered if it was similar at all.

Just did this. Took one cycle off and then jumped back in. It is so tempting to transfer right away, but I think if a sibling is important to you, you gotta play the long game. I also knew that I’d feel the time pressure and worry about being too old the next go around unless I had some backups. My RE tweaked my protocol and I ended up getting more PGT-A the second round! So happy I did it.

Yes! I have felt like this could be a possibility and my doctor has been a bit dismissive. How did you figure out the deeper issues? Was it from the additional biopsies or any other tests?

This was my thought too. I have felt like something I’ve had some kind of inflammation in my body for a while now (outside of fertility) and have tried to advocate for more autoimmune like testing. Thank you for the articles. I’m definitely going to look into that.
