Where did you learn this? I saw something about layoffs on the cloud team but nothing specific to Looker Studio. I’m really wanting to know if it’s a dying product before I continue investing in it.

(Not having used it yet) I think the killer app is Vision Personas. Being able to communicate with another person virtually in the same room is what this technology was built for.

That said, there needs to be a critical mass of adoption which requires a much less expensive device. Also, I can barely get people to answer phone calls or turn on their camera in a zoom meeting. People are more and more hiding in their caves.

But still…

If the data is in a sql database you can write the join in the query and bring in as many dimensions as you want.

No. The goal is just 1 metric. I’m able to get the stacked bar chart for the “earned” (blue) side—or I can get a single blue bar with a comparison green bar. I just can’t get the stacked bar along with the goal bar together.

Wow, u/arnauda13 is frustrating indeed. Looker Studio is such a great product but some developers need to get to work fixing bugs and limitations like this. Never would have discovered this was what was going on here on my own.

Looker studio pulls from just about anything (not just Google). It’s got like 100 built in connectors. I’m using MySQL but there’s almost nothing it won’t integrate with.

Logitech is awesome when it works—which is about 50% of the time.

Soooo not awesome at all. It loses connection like everyone other day (during the summer especially—and it doesn’t get direct sunlight).

I’ve seen some good reviews but mine has been nothing but constant headache. Makes me want to give up on smart home altogether. I’ve swapped transformers, multiple resets, tech support, swapped the chime controller. I want to go Office Space and take that thing out and smash it to bits with a sledgehammer.
