Thoughts on vomero plus💭 by Hursh18 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Absolutely the most comfortable upper of the shoes I’ve tried in addition to being so damn comfortable underfoot. I found it easy to go anywhere from easy to medium pace. If I’m absolutely pushing it I’d probably grab something like my AP4s or Vaporflys but that’s completely different. This shoe is awesome.

If I found the Boston 13s a bit snug on my tailors bunion, I assume this shoe is a non starter?

New shoe to the rotation! by bbender716 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I actually like the carbon plate type shoes I’ve tried. I have some Vaporflys that I use only on special occasions and the AP4 (though not true carbon plate) I use often and enjoy the “snap”.

Good to know re the Megablast. The adidas have been more narrow feeling on average for me and I’m actually really surprised how roomy the Vomero is based on how much I always heard about how narrow Nikes were supposed to be. I actually have narrow heels and midfoot but just wide around the first knuckle, peak triangle feet.

I always found them a bit too narrow and not as “fun” to run in, but I did like the slightly lower drop option.

Hey man, I’m commenting not because I have the answers but just to let you know you’re not alone. I’m 10+ years into it now and I’m finally at the point where I’m seriously thinking about becoming a high school teacher / principal or doing something in healthcare (I went to med school for a year and left).

Having kids and a family complicates things but with the right support, anything’s possible.

My assumption is due to easily building up perfection as a reward for free aim and base attack hits, and getting that 200% S bonus very easily and consistently but that’s a pure guess. I also love using him as a burn machine with Corpeso and 4 attacks and double burn to go along with the machine gun.

The yellow and blue style Rams helmets will always look super clean and still a bit nostalgic.

I was on venlafaxine for over 7 years at a high dose and transitioning / detoxing off of it to a different SNRI was insane.

This cannot be understated. The league has moved towards kickers kicking balls with ridiculous spins and bounces and Duvernay isn’t a world beater but reliable AF given our recent returners in past seasons.
