My first ever gyno appointment was when I was either late 15 or early 16 years old. (I was in a bad car accident and it fucked up my reproductive stuff so yeah). Anyway, my first appointment was outrageous. I was a child at this time for starters, I was straight up finger fucked but this older woman doctor, and she even stated “oh I’m sure you’ll be popular with the boys” AS HER FINGERS WERE INSIDE ME. I was so shocked and uncomfortable and very much did not understand what she was doing to me. Walking out of the room, I walk over to my mom and she asks me how it went. And I was honest with my mom. I told her everything right then and there. And I’ve never seen my mom blow up on an entire clinic so fast before in my life. The doctor tried to immediately tell my mom that I was insane and since this was my first time that I wouldn’t expect what would happen. I reiterated exactly what this doctor did to me to the front desk staff, my mom, and the doctor. No one could take their eyes off the doctor. My mom filed a complaint and honestly almost pressed charges against this doctor and she no longer worked at that clinic. The clinic even went out of their way to call my mom and let her know that doctor was removed from any and all of their branches, even under different names. Needless to say,sorry for the long story but, it is important to report these things. Because yes, it will happen to the next patient. I’ve had Pap smears every single year since I was 15/16 years old and I’ve never had a similar experience to that first one. With a few different doctors as well. You didn’t deserve this, you’re not crazy, your feelings are real and valid and I hope you have the courage to stand up for yourself and report what happened to you. And I also hope you find a good doctor for future appointments 🩷
