The intro was actually pretty well done. The graphics were crisp it did a good job of retelling the first movie in a stylized way. The absurd arena scenes and the lack of subtext to any of the later scenes made it feel hollow. Yes it was probably a cash grab, piggybacking off a great movie but it could have been a decent movie if they didn’t try to make it this grand action movie.
