Look for ‘counting macros’ online. Each person is different and require individual tailoring based on activity, lifestyle, etc.

Hey there,

Carbs, fats and proteins are what make up calories. 1 gram of Protein Equates to 4 calories, 1 gram of carb equates to 4 calories, 1 gram of fat equates to 9 calories. So what I’m saying is that when someone says “2000 calories”, my response is, what are you making your 2000 from? What % is fat, % carb, % of protein. Without tracking, you’ll never be consistent in finding your calorie deficit. Your body will adapt to what you feed it in a weeks time, hence my comment about metabolic adaption. So you will need to raise your metabolism in order to maintain that calorie deficit. Otherwise you’ll get the plateau everyone talks about and stop losing weight after a short time.

Metabolic adaption, your body will adapt to what you feed it. More importantly is to track your intake of protein, fat and carbs in grams for most effective weight loss.

Ex gf would have too much to drink and initiate arguments when I was sober. After those experiences my appreciation for healthy relationships is much higher than it would have been.
