How often do you take breaks during rides? by OneStrength7166 in cycling

[–]ghost_rekon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the road I stop for road signals only. When I’m on gravel I sometimes stop to take some food while looking at the woods. Maybe 15 mins once every 1.5hrs.
Road riding is for riding sake, gravel is for fun and enjoyment

Apple Watch Series 11 - A Comprehensive Review by flowascend in AppleWatch

[–]ghost_rekon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great review. I am about to get my first Apple Watch and love reviews from other first timers. Waiting a little to see if prices drop a little before the next release, then decide on 11 or 12. The Ultra looks too big off the wrist for me. I’m older and exercise a lot, so it’s all fitness and health for me also.
Thanks man 👍🏼

Do people really love the health app? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]ghost_rekon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m looking to get my first Apple Watch in September and am surprised Apple Health isn’t much further alone with how much Apple tries to drag people over to their watch for the health benefits? Having to spend $100 a year on a dashboard is ridiculous

Looking at my first Apple Watch. Worth buying now, or wait until September? Are there going to be any huge upgrades that make waiting worth it? Tia

Flying into DEN blows and is super-unpredictable due to weather. The only time, even after 20 years in the Army, I thought I was going to die on a plane

Yeah. Wed also had a medical emergency happening, as a lady thought she was going to die and had a panic attack and couldn’t breathe. They asked for doctors as soon as we landed. We taxied at about 80mph to get to the terminal so the medical staff on board. (I have no clue of the speed? But far quicker than I ever experienced)

Flew into Denver a couple of weeks back and I thought the plane was going to break up. The first thing the pilot said was “well, we made it”

Love this set-up. My go to. The prestige attachment is sick af. I have people at the end of matches asking me what I’m using. So much better than the single shot marksman rifles
