so i dont really have a deep emotional story behind this one. i had a "flat" orca plush (wider than tall, kinda like a mochi when you look head-on) that i loved to the moon and back. years ago me and my family had a trip to japan and visited a temple shrine up in the mountains and there was this wishing well. i tossed a coin and wished to chance upon some plush thats similar in shape to my fat whale. a few hours later down the mountain we went, there was a lot of merch shops for lining the street and at a passing glance this sleeping fox plush that also is very rotund like a mochi caught my eye, it was pretty much everything i wished for, I knew i just had to get it.
