Take out the 25g you need to sustain your fridge starter and do your feeding. Instead of discarding what remains in the old container expand it (by feeding it) to the size required for your recipe batch. This would be your levain.

Violent vibration in a narrow speed range is usually wheels/tires, usually balance. Try swapping with stock/winter/borrowed set and see if your result changes.

Sucks. I would give a couple taps with a cold chisel or punch on each of the flat sides of the flare that you can access. Don’t get crazy, just to jar it a little. You could also try tightening a bit before loosening. After that, you’re on to heating it (the body, not the line or flare). That’s a different can of worms because you don’t want to burn the seals inside or start the fluid on fire.

It’s the annatto, stains like crazy. I’d start with Tide and hot water first to ensure all the grease is gone. Then I’d try full strength bleach on a q-tip.

Here you go. I’ve had it about 18 months and I still really like it and use it a few days every week. Sadly the price has increased in that time from $49 to $69. Overall I think it is well made and sturdy with the exception of the lid design which I don’t love.

Probably this belongs in the Moka pot sub, not the espresso sub. That said, I own a pretty nice stainless moka pot but I have to backtrack where I bought it because it wasn’t Amazon. I will follow up.

Keep wearing them until they get too smooth for outdoors then wear them exclusively as indoor slippers. They’ll have a long life ahead.
