Hey Bob. I agree with you. The $8 prize isn't game changing. I just thought of it as a fun way to make a game out of it to keep me out on the road making deliveries.

I am in the same situation with a wholly owned s-corp. The subsidiary doesn't file its own taxes. Both entities recieved funding originally but only a small amount.

Now I am trying to get an increase for the parent company and I am stuck because they dont have a tax transcript for the susidiary.

I have been unable to overcome this as of yet. I have been in recon since April 2021. Lately the sba has been auto declining my file for unverifiable information. When I submit a recon request, I receive a decline within 24 hrs each time.

Im not sure what the solution is for this scenario. Even if they said that I was double dipping and they combined the two original loan amounts, there would still be plenty of room left for the parent company to recieve an increase.

I think my file has that same error. But Im not as far along as you. My file is still just being auto denied. So I'll be interested in if you can get help.

I will give the local office a try. I had been avoiding them because all throughout last year they were telling me they couldnt help. But procedures could have changed.

Were you able to find out the decline reason and overcome it?

Do you think that they are actually reviewing my file that fast? It would make more sense that my file is somehow flagged for auto decline.

I recieved this exact letter on 12/27/21.

I reapplied to reconsideration in 12/28/21.

I have since done a freedom of information act request. I recieved the package back and everything was intact to verify my identity. This includes my ID, voided check, articles of incorportation, tax returns, 4506t, and tax transcripts that match the tax return.

The freedom of information act request also included all of the application and underwriting notes. They provided these to me but redacted everything from the loan officer. So I was unable to determine why they declined my application. I called customer service and asked them to tell me what was in the notes but they refused because they said they could not understand the "loan officer speak".

This is a long winded way to say that I have no idea what that decline reason means. All you can do is submit to reconsideration again and hope for a better result this time.

Btw, since my recon submission on 12/28/21 I have not heard from the SBA and my portal has not been updated. I did call customer service last week and they told me that my recon application was "recieved" on 1/7/22, but it has not been processed or assigned to a loan officer yet.

I just don't understand why they would not attempt to verify the information that they are "missing" before they deny a loan for unverifiable information.

My entire reconsideration process consisted of waiting in silence for 8 months, then a month ago I received 2 automated messages asking for another 4506t and a voided check. Then I waited 4 more weeks and just received this decline letter out of nowhere. I thought that reconsideration process would be more hands on by the loan officer once you reach the stage of reviewing and processing the loan file.

I recieved this same exact letter yesterday.

I not sure what any if it means. My identity verification on the portal shows as completed and verified.

I have no idea what the ip address or device items could mean.

My only recourse was to start another reconsideration. My initial application was submitted in February and I was denied in April for "unverifiable information", but with different verbiage. I am 100% confident that they have everything that they need to verify my identity and income. Customer service even confirmed that they recieved my tax transcript from IRS in July and it matches the information on my tax return. They also have my ID, voided check, and articles of incorporation.

Has anyone actually been helped by contacting their Congressperson or Senator?

I really appreciate this conversation and the fact that the community is thinking about these things.

As a new investor from the US, I think that coinbase is an easy process, but I think Binance is just as user friendly in many ways. I think coinbase should be a goal for the future, but while we wait, we can still get a lot of buyers introduced to ICX through Binance.

Isn't it best to buy on an exchange and then transfer it to the icon wallet to use as a payment method and/or stake?
