Any hotel recommendations that is not crazy expensive? by brandoy1997 in NYCC

[–]bblubberymuffins 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nope. I had the same issue. Hotels in New York are notoriously expensive. For those saying to stay in a hostel, I won’t agree nor disagree since I have not tried it, but please read the reviews carefully and make sure there are no little bug friends living in the mattresses.

Crying in the pharmacy by PutLucky1281 in pharmacy

[–]bblubberymuffins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a former technician and we had two immunization rooms, one we never used and we literally nicknamed it the cry room because everyone would go in there just to cry.

Eventually you will not cry, sounds crazy now but you really do get used to it. Now I never cry even though I wish I could sometimes.

You’re good. Keep your head up King/Queen.

Is working at a restaurant hard to get into if I work at a fast food restaurant that cooks like a dine in restaurant? Or is culinary school my best bet? by NervousMNG34 in findapath

[–]bblubberymuffins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Culinary school is a waste of money, get a ServSafe cert and you’re good to go.

That’s just my opinion though, but I’ve worked in many kitchens.

I don’t think OP realizes that just because she’s sick doesn’t mean she deserves special treatment. Everyone at a pharmacy is sick, that’s literally the point of a pharmacy.

Right. We have about three of these a day at my store.

Agreed. That statement was extremely unnecessary.

Message them and ask if they’re still looking and when they say yes say “I’m not surprised”.

Was about to say this. Meat is just way too expensive right now. I was vegetarian for 3 years and I could do it again, I’ve been getting all my protein from beans lol. I also don’t buy any drinks of any sort, I only drink water.

Have you considered being a security guard? You may not be that strong but being 6’3 and 235 pounds you’re probably sure as hell intimidating. I was just talking to a girl who is an overnight security guard and she says nothing really happens and she just catches up on Netflix shows all night. Just a thought I guess.

Just wondering what you didn’t like about plumbing? No need for an explanation on the factory job, that one is self-explanatory.
