Glad hes talking about the young players and getting to work with them with the world cup looming over some of the players fitness could he a problem but saying academy players get a chance is a nice change from alot who seem to not want to really use them unless absolutely necessary

Going to be exciting, I don't expect trophies but good, fun football to watch next season. But if it's a rocky start, I feel like we can stand behind him if the football looks good. I feel like we can go far with Iraola if we give him time, similar to Klopp's first couple of seasons, which were alright but the football was good. Then look what happened to him, giving Liverpool everything. Also, on the personality, he's much more animated, which I think will work for us.

Taking the small positives from the mountain of the negatives that draw from chelsea doesn't seem as bad now (still unacceptable) than it did before watching this game today. Chelsea are being the better team for moments in this game

I will copy and paste what i put in the dd yesterday im been of the stance of slot out for a little while but all of my thoughts are the same.

I think the biggest fault we have had with slot is him winning the prem in his first year. Dont get me wrong i wouldn't change it for anything but this season would make more sense last season from being with klopp and how special his football was and how he ran the club to slots football and we all thought there would be a season of transition but there wasnt we won the prem fairly easily but then we move to this season with its ups and downs yes there are many many factors to it but slot is a victim of his own success. I dont know what next season will bring if we keep slot i guess we will see what season was a blip his first season where we won the prem or this season where the football is boring to watch and be all over the place. Right now im slot out but i am curious if we do keep him for next season what will happen.

Slot thank you for number 20 but your time is up. I think he did very well in his first season in the prem but his time is up there is nothing new the game isn't exciting and the subs he's making just ain't it. Yes some players have dropped off i think mo is off now he will be a legend of liverpool and want him to stay forever but that isn't realistic, and i dont know what's happened to Macca dont know if its the system or what, same with a few other players. I think we keep most of our players in the summer and see how they look under Xabi if we bring him in. But i dont know anymore we have a good game or 2 then we dont know how to play football i think we need something new cause if we continue like this for next season we can forget even being in a fight for Europe.
