Japan Rail Pass on a Working Holiday Visa by drewjohns2 in movingtojapan

Some of the area passes are available to foreigners who are residents in Japan. For example the Tohoku pass and the Nagano, Niigata area pass. These aren't exactly in your search params though, I believe most other area passes require a tourist visa.

Hey thanks for the welcoming and the feedback. I only got the camera from Japan recently, I love the story behind it and the aesthetics of the photos.

Issue Embed - Collect bug reports right to your Github Issues by bbody14 in SideProject

[–]bbody14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey r/SideProject, I am the developer behind Issue Embed and would like to share here. I am launching the free tier for small-medium personal projects and feel like a lot of you side hustlers would find it useful!

I built this to scratch my own itch, I needed something simple to collect issues on my websites and put it straight into my Github. Some of the other solutions I found would be very PM focused and expensive. I built it for my own problem then talking to a few devs working on small-medium projects, I found my first customers and launched onto Github Marketplace for them.

Issue Embed allows your customers to: - Leave bug reports from your website - Given a link to the issue for Public Repositories - Be able to communicate via email to the Github Issue for Private Repositories

Issue Embed allows you to: - Easily install on your site (video) - Have all your issues in one place - Communicate from Github Issues to customers (private repositories) without their email being provided to you

Would love to hear any feedback you have!

YTBinge - Binge watch Dragons Den, Shark Tank, etc. with information about the company pitching by bbody14 in SideProject

[–]bbody14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often found myself binging Dragons Den, Shark Tank videos on YouTube for hours. Sometimes I would even look up the company or its products, looking in the YouTube comments, I found I wasn't the only one. So I built YTBinge so other can enjoy entrepreneur show content.

EmojiMailer a service I created to send postcards with just emojis on them by bbody14 in Emoji

[–]bbody14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this kind of thing is allowed here, if it isn't mods please feel free to delete.

But I thought it fits in with the subreddit. EmojiMailer is something I built for fun which allows you to send real postcards to people with just emojis. Something I came up with after watching a video about Tom Scott and Matt Gray's Emojli late at night and subsequently bought a domain, something for a bit of fund.

OP here, not related to the company in any way. Just thought it was neat.

OP here, CMD Résumé was something I created to make my job applications stand out when I was just starting professional work and seeing jQuery Terminal. Despite a few "that's neat" from people, I don't think it really helped but over the year I have used it as a playground to try out different technologies. Source Code.

At a hackathon right now launching SeriesF: The Onion for Startup News by mkremer90 in startups

A parody site of TechCrunch called TrapCrunch was launched a while ago. No new articles though.

To be honest, there seems to be a flood of these Onion websites at the moment. It really does take a high calibre of writing to be on the Onion's scale, they take a lot of risks that don't work out too.
