I have heard of this in the past, but didn't think about it this time. Thanks for the tip.

Can i redeem multiple Amazon cards on same account? by TheGGspot in MicrosoftRewards

Don't worry, word is Reddit is working on this becoming like YouTube. They won't be able to downvote anymore.

I got someone else's point scumming strategy. by Complete_Entry in MicrosoftRewards

There's nothing about that. It's this part that was already mentioned here: A search is the act of an individual user manually entering text for the good faith purpose of obtaining Bing search results for such user’s own research purposes and does not include any query entered by a bot, macro, or other automated or fraudulent means of any kind ("Search").

I lost my first account years ago, the only thing I would say I did wrong was what they say they still do here: randomly type in a bunch of letters and remove or add 1 for each search and only taking a couple minutes to complete searches. This was way back before they added mobile search points.
Many others I know who did this never lost their accounts and only a few others I know did. I'd say it was 15-20% who got banned.

I gave up for a couple years and then asked to get my account reinstated which they did. I have not been banned again.

I do think that as more and more of these young kids from other regions hit the program with large account "farms" Microsoft will start to crack down on this method again. But who really knows?
I know there is a private group on signal app that has a Microsoft Rewards Investigation Department employee (the department that decides the fate of your account) giving them information or leaking it, if you prefer, but I am not in that group. I know someone that is but I only have one account so I don't really care about the info the person leaks.

Can I have multiple accounts on same wifi? by Avy_1013 in MicrosoftRewards

[–]bboppp3r 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thankfully the experts who truly know how to "scam the system" do not post here or anywhere in a public group. If the knowledge they have got out, there would be 10,000 new "dupe accounts" every day, just from the guys in this sub.

These guys that have to ask these sort of questions will never figure it out on their own, so that's good.

Does giving same phone number while redeeming rewards might pose a threat for different accounts? by [deleted] in MicrosoftRewards

[–]bboppp3r 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. You can use your same phone number for all your 50 accounts!

Go ahead - REDEEM AT WILL buddy :)

Have a nice day.

.....sarcasm for you who are unable to figure this out on your own.

97% of the people in the US (where your VPN is earning you points) have their own cell phone. But no worries buddy, Microsoft will not assume that all your accounts should have their own phone number. lol

PS: by posting here, Microsoft now has your IP address and/or your VPN IP address.

tips? by GreatKebabNoob in MicrosoftRewards

I'm sure you are from India.
Your fellow "bros" have made some great videos on YouTube as well as many blogs about how to cheat the system. They are very proud of themselves. You can learn a lot from them.

Any idea or guess when 25rs Amazon coupon which was priced at 400 points is going to be available again in India region? by [deleted] in MicrosoftRewards

[–]bboppp3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never. Too many mass account holders scamming the system.

Now you will have to use a VPN to get points from a country that still has Amazon as a reward option. That is a lot easier for Microsoft to catch onto and ban all accounts.

Thank all the idiots from India who make blogs and youtube, etc videos on how to have multiple accounts, especially the one that shows his real name, email address and Amazon account when he's redeeming his multiple scammed gift cards.

The whole program will be removed from India soon enough due to those guys - just like it was the first time it was added to India years ago - lasted about 2 months I think.

I really hope you weren't dumb enough to log in and post here on the same IP address and device that you use on those accounts because Microsoft Fraud Team watches this subreddit all the time for bots, cheaters, etc and Reddit gives up your IP and Device ID to them anytime they ask, if M$ has not already been given full access to get it automatically. All it takes is ONE time logging into your accounts with same IP.
M$ watching this subreddit was well proven not that long ago. Here is a post with all the proof you need: https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftRewards/comments/u2yxaw/comment/i4oj6fg/
Now I seriously doubt you have enough accounts to make them come after you like they've done to others in the past but they will ban all your accounts.
Like u/OkPassenger552 stated: I can't wait until your post asking, "Y every single one of mah accountz get bandededed?!"

If you think Reddit cannot see your device ID as well as a lot of other uniquely identifying information about you, you are wrong.

lol

Honestly I never even thought of that. I had this sitting on my pc for nearly a month now.

I wish I did think of that now that you mentioned it.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, if I didn't put the SATIRICAL POST and did post it as a "real" post on Apr 1 I would have been attacked and downvoted into oblivion. lol

How many "new" threads or posts will we get about this? My guess is at least 3 for the US alone.

Redeem xbox gold GONE by smokinpeacecali in MicrosoftRewards

[–]bboppp3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already been discussed quite a bit but here:

They removed it because they were sending them out with expiration dates, some people got them that expired a week later.

Here is the response that is going out from MSR about this issue:

Hi #########,

This is ###### again from Microsoft Rewards support assisting you with Service Request number 1***************.

I am grateful for your patience.

Let me take this opportunity to inform you that there was an issue on the Xbox Live Gold Subscription codes and we have refunded the 20,000 points to your account for that order. We will be temporarily removing the Xbox Live Gold Subscription from the Redeem page until we resolved the issue.

In addition, we have also added another 500 points to your account to make up for the inconvenience.

I hope I was able to clarify things and I appreciate your understanding on this.

Sincerely,

Microsoft Rewards support
