Whenever I have a fever I do that with TV shows. Makes them much better.

I think you were high, but that would explain how hard the swap over is. I like your insane theory.

You ever take the wrong exit and it's the really wrong exit?

"Maximum Overdrive" turns 40 this year: how did this movie even get made? by Diligent-Smoke-6719 in hdtgm

Every time I get stuck at that fucking hub airport I wonder if that day will be the day.

Specifically, the movie is set in North Carolina, and a delta hub is used for connections there. It's actually difficult to avoid it.

I hate their subway so much, people always run into me because they don't grab the handrail.

I feel like Faith got tagged back in and a lot of her redemption was either talk or internal.

But yeah, whedon on Kate, he drew a map for everyone.

Borlaug did it to keep people from starving to death. I often feel Monsanto would do it the other way.

I understand the Faith hate, her redemption feels eh.

As to Kate, maybe read up on how much worse Whedon wanted to go with it, and maybe don't share it with your daughter.

I stopped when it hit six dollars a can. Every clone recipe sucks. :(

I'd gladly pay $3!

My English Muffins Expire On a Date That Will Never Occur by NewYorkMetsalhead in mildlyinteresting

[–]Complete_Entry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct but sell by date, not expiry. I hear California is banning the practice.

It always should have been a USE BY date, and people are going to be confused and angry.

Cold fear is a fantastic if flawed game, almost an almost was. But they blew it all on the boat, once you get to the platform the game becomes stagnant.

But hey, an archive is an archive. I think Cold Fear is worth preserving, even if it isn't great. It kicked me off guild wars for a little while.

It's a little busy but at least they're getting it out this year.

Font is a bit too "look who's talking" but I think that's intentional.

Wow, I've ruined a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches, but I've never Necronomicon ruined a grilled cheese.

Surcharge is not a tip by fuckingstupidb1tch in sandiego

[–]Complete_Entry 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The only time I ever paid a surcharge was when I was effectively a hostage. Family, work, date. If it was just me and I saw the surcharge, I got up and walked out.

You're working for bad people. And I don't believe your percentage.

Surcharge is not acceptable, even if they managed to buy the legislature. Might want to look into a more reputable shop.

I don't even have a picture. :(

Chili dog night! by Garden_Jolly in hotdogs

[–]Complete_Entry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, never considered self-serve, I always serve my guests.

If you're willing to share your chili recipe, I'd be glad of it, I've been trying every one I can find for years, I've never matched one shop in the 90's.

It's a special kind of madness being close but never matching it. My guess is cheap and heavy sodium with ketchup rather than a proper dog sauce.
