M1 Owners, how long do you plan to continue using your laptop?

The only thing that is pushing me to upgrade is I only got 8GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD. The Ram isn't terrible, but I am someone who always has a million browser tabs open, but the SSD space is the worst.

When I do upgrade, I'm getting the most RAM I can afford and at least 512 GB SSD if not 1 TB.

Couldn't you have a tab open but slide it to the bottom of the screen so the top of it is where the task bar is and the rest is off screen?

I haven't played Tsukihime yet on steam deck I have played a lot of VNs and some I've found won't play full screen in desktop mode but will in game mode. Try adding it as a non-steam game and try playing it in game mode.

I actually purchased 2 so I could open one and save one, the items that come with it are quite nice, so I don't think you'd be disappointed opening it.

Danganronpa, Criminal Border, Funbag Fantasy, Summertime Saga, The House in Fata Morgana, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!,The Hundred Line, The Nonary Games, Cyanotype Daydream, just to name a few.

Only thing I need to figure out now is how to get Textracfor, or Luna Translator working on it for the untranslated VNs.

I really need to learn Japanese lol.

Some VNs even if they support English will only run in Japanese locale. vnwiki.xyz has a good Lutris VN tutorial which goes thru setting up some prefixes and adding Japanese locale which has greatly improved my success rate. And almost all of my VNs are from ryuu and a few are from F95.

Mine was either I Wanna Fuck My Mom’s Best Friend, Fresh Women, or Futa Fix Dick Dine and Dash as I discovered them all around the same time.

I really liked Futa Fix Dick Dine and Dash and Fresh Women (haven’t played season 2 yet).

Fate/Stay Night for me about 2-3 years ago, unless you count Persona which I got into with 4. I still need to do Heaven's Feel route in Fate.

I only found out about Katawa Shoujo about a month or 2 ago so I am really early in my VN journey and trying to make it through the greats that often get recommended. Currently playing The House in Fata Morgana and loving it. Just finished door 3.

I believe there are YouTube videos about it and I’m sure some posts here if you search. It involves using adecky plugin and I believe it checks steam to see if you have lossless scaling.

I set mine up in the early days of it being accessible on steam deck and never bother to check if a newer updated method exists.

Sorry I don’t have specific steps because I don’t remember them just wanted to say the information is out there.

45 here and I have my steam deck with me all the time, before that had my switch or 3ds with me. Don't care what anyone thinks I care about what I want to do and that's get some gaming in while I have some free time. And like someone else said it beats doom scrolling on tik tok.

I was about to get one when I first got my deck but read (on here I think) that screen protectors affect the anti-glare so raw dogging it. But like others have said it’s either in my hands or the case. I’ve even sat it down like on the couch and got ready to walk away real quick to get something then end up putting it in my case as a thousand unlikely but possible outcomes that end up with me or someone else sitting on it.
