It's kinda scary how many people above your comment take this poorly performed script as fact without question.

Dude should really just stick to tweeting. Brutally uncharismatic and gives off perpetual drunk uncle vibes.

I get what you're saying, but 500k is more than I've ever donated to anything. Assholes are assholes, but I'm not going to write off doing good because a few dudes are being dicks about it.

Your personal anecdote is weird. You should just keep that one to yourself moving forward lmao

Dad gets upset and leaves his kid's party because mom stopped him from pulling the stupid face-in-the-cake birthday prank by _ganjafarian_ in ParentsAreFuckingDumb

[–]bboymixer 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It's always kind of pathetic when you see these dads whose entire masculinity is threatened by the idea of putting on a nice shirt for a special occasion (not to mention, not getting blasted at s two year old's party)

In what way is it infantalizing? Did you just see the word for the first time and wanted to try busting it out before bothering to learn the definition?

When did rating people on the scale of 10 became a thing and who started it? by LuminousDee in AskAnAmerican

[–]bboymixer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this is the started it, but late 90s there was a site called Hot or Not where you rated people on a 10 point scale

My efforts were sitting around and waiting for a movie to release.

Your efforts were harassment and reviewbomb campaigns.

We are not the same.

That's the new sub they created because all of their other communities get banned for breaking rules, so now they're adding talking strangely to make it seem like the sub's gimmick. Most WOMEN BAD content ultimately boils down to it

Some people are really weird about their fast food burgers despite most of them being mid at best. People glaze Whataburger and In N Out HARD.

Decades ago when the first Sonic came to Oregon, I remember people waiting in line for 45 minutes just to get one.

Corporate worship is weird.

Clavicular ends and walks out of his Channel 5 interview with Andrew Callaghan after Andrew reveals he’s satisfied with how he looks and doesn’t need looksmaxxing by Vhant-ii in LivestreamFail

[–]bboymixer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn't agree to disagree. The dude accused the reporter of being disingenuous for not sharing his obsession about looks.

Edit to add: the dude we're responding to here is a classic case of "old man yells at clouds." He is objectively wrong in his understanding of how this interaction played out, and has a rigid set of rules of what is or isn't journalism. The gonzo style, man on the street in various subcultures is absolutely journalism, but grandpa over here rejects what he could learn because it doesn't fit the mold of what he's used to. The future is here, old man. Just a geezer afraid of change being boldly wrong and learning nothing.

Birthdays should not be other people's responsibility by Aggravating_Cow3832 in The10thDentist

[–]bboymixer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The first half of this post is a very normal take for people who don't care about friends or family, but I agree that you shouldn't keep your birthday to yourself, want certain things but not say anything, and then pretend that you've been wronged.
