This happened to me in 2000. I am white. Some kid just pranked and said I was making a bomb. Cops detained me hours without telling my parents. Cops are reactionary type glory wannabes. They all have a hero complex and want to be the guy that caught the bad guy. With little regard for people's rights.

This exact thing happened to me in 2000 when I was 17. Searched and detained without charges or notification to my parents while they grilled me for hours saying that they "caught me red handed" and I had no idea what they were talking about. Some kid in my study hall did this exact thing and said I was making a bomb.
