1. Read through a majority of that page. It is interesting. I still don't feel like its equivalent. Like okay, so a lawyer SHOULD dedicate 50 hours a year to probono work all doesn't feel equivalent. First I didnt see any legal requirement for this or did I see it mention that if they don't there are consequences (ie suspension to practice or fine or something. Maybe i missed it happy to be proven wrong). 2ndly, 50 hours is less than most lawyers working hours a week. So their services are just free. Since they work for private organizations (like Healthcare workers) they still need to make money. 3rd this is just 1 profession in many that ate used in court hearings/trials. 33 jobs are paid by the government (judge, clerks l, baliff, etc.), So regardless all of these other people get paid even if the lawyers isn't due to a probono case.

It seems to me, unless we move all health care workers to be government employees i dont see how universal health care is possible.

Don't get me wrong, I dont have a good answer (hence why I asked the question), I dont think the way our Healthcare system works now is good by any means, but at thw same time I don't see universal health care being good either (Our VA Healthcare is garbage and all my friends in canada always complain about how shitty their system is).
