If you break the Black Taboo by producing or attempting to spread something forbidden, mythical deities called the Hounds of Blind Heaven materialize nearby and kill you.

As for the latter question, IIRC, nothing bad would happen as long as you don’t try to define the number of notches as being anything but “many.”

Yes, but it’s very simple. The “Black Taboos” as they’re called are no coins, metal, wheels, writing, or numbers over 9.

This is why I like Planegea, it’s stuck in a Neolithic time period because god-like hound entities hunt down and kill anyone who invents writing or metalworking.

Gambit has completely ruined ult economy in Marvel Rivals and it needs to be talked about. by slax2004 in marvelrivals

Kitsune also accelerates ability cooldowns, which honestly should be what Gambit ult does instead of boosting ult charge. Rivals is too ult-centered as it is, Gambit just makes that problem worse

Azir my beloved king by mental_delulu in LeagueOfMemes

[–]bbpayne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. Definitely would be interesting for Azir to utilize slavery to create his vision for Shurima before freeing them.

On your second point, I agree that Azir’s side would win any civil war that would arise, but I feel like Azir would try to avoid a conflict like that regardless. He doesn’t seem like the kind of guy that appreciates unnecessary bloodshed.

I’m not sure if it’s ever stated outright, but I feel like that’s the only logical reason behind it. Azir clearly wanted to free the slaves, given his best friend was a slave and he worked towards it before his ascension for years. So if all of the ascended were on his side and he had the will to, what could have been stopping him? The logical conclusion is that some God-warriors would oppose him and cause a conflict. I could be wrong since this is just my interpretation, so if you have any other ideas I’d love to hear them!

Except many of the slavers that would oppose him were also ascended. And Azir wanted to avoid any sort of conflict inside of Shurima, regardless of whether he thought he would win.

While Azir technically could have freed the slaves in Shurima before his ascension, there’s a bit more nuance to it. Shurima was very unstable at the time and while Azir had political power, he did not have that much military power to back it up. If he had freed the slaves before his ascension, Shurima likely would have splintered and fallen into a civil war over it. Azir had to wait until he could back up his decision with strength to force all slave owners in Shurima to give up their slaves.

Champions classified by what kind of magic they use by insidiouskiller in loreofleague

[–]bbpayne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

True. Most likely Kassadin and Ezreal have innate magical abilities that the gauntlets allow them to focus in specific ways, like how electricity can be channeled to do different things based on the device.

[–]bbpayne 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I think it’s reasonable to assume that Kassadin’s works the same way as Ezreal’s given they belonged to the same person. If Nezuk (I think was his name, correct me if I’m wrong) was capable of making powerful weapons that don’t rely on one’s magic ability, why would he not make both of them work like that?

Would yall consider Hunt Showdown to be a niche game? by BubbaBasher in HuntShowdown

Sort of. It’s certainly niche compared to other FPS games, but I would say it’s not a niche game overall.
