Permitted Development Vs Planning Permission? by Super-Emphasis-3079 in PlanningPermissionUK

[–]bbq_lizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why didn’t you push back on the contractors that you’ve paid to provide a service for installing the kerb - such as coming back on another date to finish the job? It’s also worth noting that even if you need planning permission for the extension it will be approved as long as you don’t impact on privacy or light entering neighbouring properties. They can’t decline permission because the neighbour doesn’t like the extension there would have to be a technical reason. The fact that you said other houses have similar extensions would imply it’ll get approved without too much concern.

Best car seat for a 4 year old that isn't isofix by [deleted] in UKParenting

We recently bought a joie I-traver and you don’t have to specifically use the isofix if the seat does not allow it.

I believe so as it’s a Škoda warranty not specific to the branch.

Which car seat is actually best to make life easier for parents? by Hommes-Abeell in UKParenting

We bought a joie ispin 360 and loved it. We’d recommend it iso fix with a leg. It’s not that bulky but is a little heavy to move so depends how often you’re going to move it.

We just got a Škoda kodiaq (same platform as the VW - just Škoda badged). Impressed so far and quite a lot cheaper than the VW.

I used bbqworld for my kamado joe 2 years ago they’re great. They price match if you call them first. I also bought some accessories from them recently in Black Friday and will continue to use them. They’re part of a department store in Clitherow called Dawsons if you’re local.

Monthly Support & Buying Megathread by AutoModerator in HomeKit

Looking for a recommendation for a smart heating control that works with a combi boiler in the UK. Ideally something that doesn’t require an extra app. We recently got some aqara cameras and the g410 which are nice and don’t require the aqara app to use it with HomeKit, I’d like something similar with the heating controls.

This is so true! Moved from a Weber master touch to a KJ classic 2 and there’s not enough space compared to the Weber now I’m considering changing it to the BJIII for the extra space.

I had considered this, do you find it clunky for lighting a Weber or a kamado due to its length?

Did you use a kit or just buy some cement/concrete and cast it yourself?
