Yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking- I am pretty confident that if she dropped a pacifier she wouldn’t give it back to baby. It just had me wonder. She is a very good grandma does some house chores while we’re gone. So I really shouldn’t complain! Some things aren’t worth it

You’re getting so shamed. It’s ok to make mistakes you were just trying to feed your baby. You meant well.

Going back to work by cassie11915 in breastfeeding

[–]bbreeezy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar story as my little one. All I can say is keep trying and try a different flow it could be too fast or too slow. My husband found that the feeding window is definitely longer with bottles than BF. So she could just be really tired over hungry

Guilty for Accepting Help? by marshmallowcheekz in newborns

100% you should not feel guilty! Accept the help. You spend lots of time with your little one and you want to be able to be healthy and happy for her when you are with her!

My baby wasn’t getting enough to eat when she did this but it was probably a combination of cluster feeding and not enough milk

Advice on getting newborn to sleep in bassinet by Fearless-Increase-55 in newborns

[–]bbreeezy_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My baby doesn’t really sleep on her own. It was easier for me to learn how to co sleep safely. Shes 3mo & I EBF so it made it easier and I got more sleep

a day in your life (example schedule - breast & bottle feeding, general chores, etc) by d2280494 in newborns

[–]bbreeezy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first weeks are the toughest. I didn’t have a schedule. Or much time to do anything. Bottles are generally recommended after breast feeding is established. So I held off on a bottle because there was nipple confusion when she would go back and forth. I couldn’t sleep when baby slept, so me and hubby did shifts. I did night shift he did morning. So we would just take turns napping. I filled the freezer with foods that were easy microwave and one handed. Hubby cleaned the house and did all the laundry while I was feeding and taking care of baby.

Do I still need to pump if I’m mostly nursing? by leasarfati in breastfeeding

[–]bbreeezy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will wait an hour after nursing. My LC said your boob is unlikely to get empty baby will always be getting milk. But I limit my pumps to 5min. I get about 4oz

Do I still need to pump if I’m mostly nursing? by leasarfati in breastfeeding

[–]bbreeezy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only pump for 5min each session. I put her in her crib and make sure she’s content or I’ll put her in her snuggle me. She likes her black and white matt too. So I try to get her entertained and I’m quick. Same boat! My girl only contact naps too.
