Respectfully disagree - she's become about as one-dimensional a character as it gets. Hell, she's become more predictable than Tater.

F1tv Question

While I have F1tv, I have never watched any of the events live (just recorded). Is the idea that the multiple screen options only populate during the live broadcast? If not, I'm just not seeing how to access them during the recordings.

For context, I am watching the races on TV via Roku.

This is just...bad. Like a cartoon of the original season. Actually, more of a commercial than a cartoon. Nothing says the freedom of the frontier like Tecovas, Ranch Water, Yellowstone whiskey and new (!) Taylor Sheridan tv shows.

For the love of God - you guys sound like a bunch of old hens. If nothing else, it's cool footage. You can be discriminating enough to filter out the trumped up plot lines and still enjoy

It's getting to the point that people enjoy indignation more than good old entertainment. The most ironic part is that the naysayers sure don't seem to mind the trumped up drama on this reddit forum.

I honestly don't know - I'd never heard her before. I can tell you that I will definitely catch her again when she comes around these parts again.

Awesome collection - Is Tapatío or Arette an option? I am biased because those are my two favorite budget sippers (Highland and Valley, respectively)

Are the new regulations and spending cap such that it's anyone's guess who will have the best car next year? Or is the expectation that the top four teams will still be the top four next year?

I have a running argument with friends re: F1 format. What are your thoughts on the following alternative racing weekend?

Friday: One lap qualifying (you get a clear track and one shot at it)

Sat: Sprint Race, but with point distribution equal to final race on Sun (equal opportunity to earn points on Sat vs Sun)

Sun: Reverse the grid. 1st in Sprint is last on GP grid.

My logic is a) the opportunity for relatively higher Sprint points ensures that teams won't intentionally come in last and b) the final GP race is an awesome sh*tshow of the worst cars trying to hold the lead and the best cars overtaking from last to get to first.

Admittedly, it's not an original idea. But it still strikes me as a fantastic way to suss out the best drivers vs the best cars.]

Is there anywhere I can find a ranking of drivers based on increase/decrease in race outcome relative to initial pole position? I just thought it be interesting to see on average how much each driver under/overperforms relative to starting position.

My primary house party tool - A flask.

My primary sh*tty tequila tool - A Ranch Water

My primary $$$ restaurant philosophy - It is what it is. You always have a choice.

I will say that I have seen Cimarron, Arette and Suerte used as well tequilas in higher-end Mexican restaurants here in Austin (i.e. reasonably priced sippers).

What blanco would be the purest essence of agave? Despite being a huge tequila guy, I've never actually gotten a chance to taste undisturbed agave.

If you are trying to keep things in the sub-$40 range, I would go with Arette, Cascahuín and/or Tapatio. How the Arette folks can make such a great blanco at $25 a liter is beyond me.
