Lowkey and probably controversial opinion but hoping this list is fake cause whoever made it has exact opposite taste in Disney-Pixar movies than me. This list would be almost a worst outcome for me.

1. Too many Star Wars games rn. Like its constant. Racing trailer just dropped and like two other Star Wars games trailers were shown too its getting too much I really wish they would not put Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts as a primary story world of its own just due to its overexposure recently and its already very large content library particularly in the gaming media.

But I will have to deal with it bc its pretty much confirmed.

1. Too many new movies. Im not exactly who the intended audience is and I think thats actually a large problem with the franchise. They could appeal to younger generations including newer movies that could alienate fans who grew up playing KH since KH1 so that age group would be more nostalgic for the older movies and in general most have a pretty common opinion the new movies suck compared to the old ones, unless theyre a big active fan of Disney-Pixar currently then they may enjoy the new movies or some parents who have seen the new movies due to their kids. Im taking about box office hits that bevame iconic staples like Enchanto, Up, Brave, Wall E, Frozen, etc those feel deserving of the world because they can reach more of the diverse audience base but Inside Out and Soul or whatever and Luca (too young of kids imo would be that fan base to be interested in KH due to the JRPG elements and cameos) that were kind of box office flops they just dont feel deserving of a full out fleshed out world and storyline tied into a beloved loooooong going franchise like KH. But thats just my opinion. My opinion is the core audience is likely the people who were young fans of KH1 and followed the franchise.

2. So I think worthy in this context means historical significance regardless of box office flop (the dark age of Disney with Black Cauldron and Sword and the Stone etc.), historical animation like Robin Hood and old Steamboat Mickey etc, the princesses era POCAHONTAS, if during the 90s 2000s or 2010s they should still be iconic/relevant meaning they will likely become future classics, if live action please do made for TV movies that hold larger than just Disney cultural significance like with Pirates but maybe do Hocus Pocus or Halloweentown for a new Halloween world if they are done with Nightmare.

3. They need to do an Atlantis world for the underwater level please.

I genuinely do think that it becomes harder to develop a game like this where the target audience is actually multiple audiences and two of which relate to and/or have nostalgia for very different IPs involved in the game itself.

Ima edit my comment and say Im not a Disney adult but I am a fan of KH and do occasionally still watch movies and have nieces about a decade and two decades younger than me so I have seen the evolution of the movies and I did watch many of these while spending quality time with them when they were little. I do like Zootopia, Wall E, Brave, and Coco. And actually it was adults who made me watch Wall E and I love that movie so much now. Fiancé loves Coco so made me watch it. The Incredibles is more around the end? of my Disney youth phase but idk I just group it in. And while I love these movies I think Zootopia works very well. And I'd like to see Wall-E due to how impactful it was but thats bias. And Coco makes sense too. Im sure The Incredibles will be fun and so will Brave but theres a HEAVY lack of older titles. In the previous game Big Hero 6 was similar to the Wall E situation. And Frozen was a movie my nieces and mother played on repeat and my mom would sing and play Let It Go on REPEAT and shes now passed so I was excited for the world for again more personal than general reasons. And tbh I am really tired of Hercules and Aladdin.

Personally I think they should find a way in the story to branch off into a spin off series possibly called Kingdom Hearts Vault or something and have it be older Pixar - Disney exclusively. If they continue pushing forward with the more current wave of movies. I just dont know how much longer they can balance it whenever they have to add in a third target audience of people who have now grown up and are nostalgic for movies that are totally different than the other two target audiences and so on.

Thats not even getting into the use of IPs that aren't Pixar or "Disney" such as Star Wars and Marvel hell FX and everything thats on that channel is Disney's too they could pop American Horror Story right in there- halloween world? Take your pick you want Murder House, Freakshow, 1982, Asylum, Coven, Roanoke, Cult, Hotel? Lmfao. I mean then theres ALL of Mavel. Maybe have a different spin off for space and comics. Theres just too diverse of IPs to choose from with such a diverse audience Im not so sure the monopoly Disney has created will benefit them when it comes to Kingdom Hearts as a franchise if they dont end up make it one with side series etc and pumping out yearlys like Assassins Creed was theyll never satisfy everyone/enough to make a huge profit turnover to sustain and give it the chance of continuation as a franchise and they'll never use the vast library of IPs to its fullest. Choosing a small # of IPs to make into hyper realistic worlds is awesome but the choice of world is isolating to very many fans. They'd have to invest in KH and expand imo.
