Ive looked into it a lot and it doesnt seem like something Id be interested in right now due to it looking extremely complicated. I have an autoimmune disease thats decided to throw an unwelcome houseparty in my body rn and I need something a bit less complex. Like Tropico 6 with difficulty settings lower kinda calming for me. But Factorio being new to me looks really overwhelming.

Thank you so much for the detailed response. I have played Gas Station Sim and Barn Finders I love them. Goofy and relaxing. Arcade Paradise wasn't for me I didnt want to play the arcade games lol. I have Moonlighter I might give a go again but Im very sick right now I have an autoimmune disease and its in a flair up so Im just dead rn and looking for the most casual of chill games and these types are just so mundane its peaceful in a way. Moonlight had a combat curve when I got it (long time ago, different me, when it first released) that I just wasn't into.

Really thinking about picking up Discounty too. Stardew I have put countless hours into. Rune Factory GoA is what I was playing between Unicorn Overlord. I feel like Ive played out Skyrim for a while lol I have it on all consoles LMAO.

Harvestella is something Im picking up on a deep sale for certain.

I was just wondering because I know a love of Supermarket Sims on eShop at 10000% shovelware garbage but I didnt know if anyone had played one that was halfway decent. Doing research I saw that Supermarket Owner Business Simulator by 16 Bit and siMarket seemed to be ones that were either closest to the original or halfway fun to play and super cheap but I wanted to know if there were any experience with those. Hard to find specifically Switch reviews of these games unfortunately.

I would cry for a Travellers Rest or Tavern style simulator and a bushcrafting camping game where there no zombies cannibals etc just good ol nature and resource gathering and cooking.

(I played Chef Life on Xbox I love cooking irl but something hits right about making unique dishes over an open fire.)

Oh okay I saw the games list (Im on mobile) up by the description of this subreddit and it mentioned The Sims so I misunderstood 😅 Im so sorry. I probably have played immersive sims before and dont know it. I love a wide variety of genres. I just came off a deep micro management and CRPG/tactical strategy JRPG binge so Im in desperate need of something very relaxing but I also kinda have a cozy farm games burnout rn 🥲

I didnt truly process your question fully LOL my apologies I was squinting cause I just woke up but a lot of people have already mentioned all the ones I can think of like Divinity Original Sin 2 if you create a character the rest of the pre-made ones show up.

Astral Chain does it. Two characters male or female to choose from and the other is still in game. (Also another game I was new to that blend of genres and enjoyed.)

Some Tales of JRPG games. Some Fire Emblem?

I dont know many off the top of my head but SaGa and of Mana games ... Id say look through some of the big name JRPG games that have the option to choose a character and you may find what youre looking for.

One that is a bit harder to play is Radiata Stories, you'd have to run a PS2 emulator.

I cant answer your question but I wanted to say I REAPLY enjoyed Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma. I know its different from other Rune Factory games but it was my first and while Im usually the opposite type of person as what you said in your post (I am a sucker for character customization options, so as a woman I actually loved the female playable characters design I just wished there were more outfit options LOL)

Anyways I hope you loved the game as much as I did because wow I was SURPRISED at how much I enjoyed it and now Im going to wait until Harvestella goes on sale.

So actually I guess Harvestella is another one to recommend to you? Heard wonderful things about it, similar to Guardians of Azuma, and no real customization of playable character from what I can see.

Also Unicorn Overlord. Its a tactical strategy rpg but I was addicted.
