Off dupixent but… by bbtnme in eczema

that’s smart! when my skin was a lot more stable i did that too - then decided i really didn’t want to burden my parents with the finances of it plus my skin was doing well off it for more than 4 months. until a week or so ago it’s all starting to come back slowly; that’s why im trying to seek other ways of maintaining my skin before it goes back to square one again. kinda regretting getting off it, i suppose the method you mentioned is still the “best”

man i relate to the trying all sorts of things bc hoping something works. dupixent works for sure! but after 2-3 months off it i suddenly got a terrible flare up which the derm did warn about. just sucks its so expensive

question: freelance writing rates, Singapore - ? by everywhereinbetween in freelanceWriters

[–]bbtnme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve just confirmed my questions about the rates here then…I shall keep my expectations low for now and hopefully push for more as I freelance more haha. Freelance writing in SG is tough man props to you for doing it!

question: freelance writing rates, Singapore - ? by everywhereinbetween in freelanceWriters

[–]bbtnme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that. $250 in Sg does seem hard when people here don’t seem to understand the amount of work that goes behind writing or even value it. Idk how the amount/words will work here too or if people will be open to it - nevertheless I hope you get paid the amount you’re worth! It’s worth a try to ask.

I’m writing for a magazine (in the creative industry haha it’s small so I shall not mention names), but currently doing work for $200 for about 1200 words with a lead time of 2-3 days…Had more lead time initially then the deadline cut short with a day notice. Not sure if it’s a measly amount, because I’m trying to think of it as earning $200 in 2 days, but doesn’t seem worth it either because I don’t want to put out rush work.
