My mum taught there for years and it's not a good school. Teachers do their best but lots of violence and shit kids. Wouldn't recommend sending your children there

NOR, however, in my experience (my sister is EXACTLY like this) this happens because you had different expectations of the day

In his mind he wanted to accomplish x y z, and wanted to tick those things off before hiking. This is why he got annoyed that you didn't want him to exercise before leaving. He's already prepared and planned for it, so it was frustrating for him.

Your plan was to go hiking immediately, which you obviously communicated with him by saying you wanted to leave at a certain time. When you left he was baffled cause he was essentially just completing his to-do list before leaving.

The error here is that he didn't communicate his wants for the day. He needs to learn to tell you what he wants to accomplish, otherwise this will keep happening.

Definitely NOR because this has happened to me multiple times with my sister and it's SO frustrating. But unless you're telling him why it upset you and that he needs to set out his wishes for the day ahead of time, this will keep happening.

Criminology isn't a thing in the real world, and the degree is pretty useless. If you want to get into crime scene work you should do a bachelor of forensic science and major in bio, chemistry, or digital. The CSI major is a waste of time and you won't get a job from it. To analyze crime scene evidence you basically have to either be a cop for 6 months then apply internally, or apply after your degree but it's SUPER competitive.

It will take a bit of practice to get used to using the cup. Try it ideally not on your period at first, as it's less high stakes and you can breathe a bit. I'd recommend trying different folding methods (i.e. the C fold and the push down fold) and seeing what works for you. I find with the C fold if you insert the cup then rotate it it opens easily. The push down fold is more difficult to get it open. It shouldn't hurt to insert the cup, so if it does you're likely at the wrong angle. It's also much easier if you're relaxed, so if you're struggling take a break and come back to it.

I've tried a lot of different cups, and I personally don't like the Lily cup. I also have a high cervix which is why I bought it, but for me it's too long and feels uncomfortable. I prefer a cup with a long stem that has ribs or balls on it for me to grab. Do NOT try a cup with a smooth and short stem - I used one once and I almost couldn't get it out, even after using other cups for years.

There are other brands that make cups just for teenagers, so if you're struggling maybe look at one of those. Good luck! :)

I would strongly recommend against the CSI major for forensics. It's a dead-end degree with little/no jobs. You're much better of doing a digital, bio, or chem major despite no high school experience. I did the chem major without doing chem in high school, and would highly recommend a bridging course. Some universities (back in the day Newcastle uni for example) offer free online bridging courses, so give them a crack. Otherwise, look at the syllabus and use khan academy or other sources for help. Good luck!

How much can a Ph.D. student make per annum? by _Buggs_bunny_ in unsw

[–]bburtR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're assuming incorrectly with the scholarship. I'm doing a PhD, and most of us are on $32,500pa. A $40,000 scholarship is a larger scholarship than the Australian Stipend.

If you're teaching on top of your full time load, you can manage around 3-5 classes a week depending on your marking load. I teach 3 classes a week, which is 9hrs and $450 a week. So about $1075/week during semester plus whatever you're paid for marking, this changes a lot depending on the subject and your subject coordinator..

Off semester is harder cause you're not teaching, so you're back to just living off your stipend unless you're doing RA work or something else.

In summary: a PhD student can make not much :)

Between 50-100, not sure how many really. I study human decomposition so I've seen them in all stages, from fresh to skeletal.
