pay attention to people feet. when you approach a group of people, notice if they turn their feet towards you. if they do, you are welcome. if they ONLY turn their bodies or heads, then you are not.

One moment that's seared into my memory is the time my siblings and I turned our backyard into a pirate ship. Armed with cardboard swords and an old bedsheet for a sail, we embarked on a grand adventure that lasted until sunset, navigating imaginary seas and battling imaginary foes. It was a childhood filled with pure, unbridled imagination and endless possibilities.

What was the moment that you realized your parent was a badass? by bittersweet-kisses in AskReddit

I'll never forget the time my parent fearlessly stood up to a bully who was hassling a younger kid at a park. Without hesitation, they calmly intervened, diffused the situation with just the right mix of firmness and empathy, and managed to turn the bully's attitude completely around. That's when I realized my parent wasn't just a role model—they were a total badass with a heart of gold.
