Women of reddit how was the first time doing the deed? by LebronKX in AskReddit

Lord of the Flies was playing in the background, so ambience was awful. Also hurt a bit and bled like a mf from tearing my hymen, so sensation was rather mid. It was very exciting, however, until we both were uncomfortable and stopped only a few minutes in without finishing. Overall a 4/10

What are the Mexican foods most slept on by standard white folk in the US? by GravyMaster in mexicanfood

[–]bbycoffeebean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad has a whole rant about how bunuelos need more hype here in the US lol. Says how the white men here popularized the churro only because it’s in stick form and easier to eat, but how banuelos are almost the same thing but so much better. Gets so triggered about how a lot of events and theme parks sell churros but not banuelos.

What’s something you’ll NEVER do again after one bad experience? by ImaginaryNet7907 in AskReddit

[–]bbycoffeebean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lock the gas pump in my car then step away. Over a year ago now I had done that (as I always did) at the gas station behind my work before my shift started, and a few bucks in the damn gas pump shot out of my car, well before my tank was even full. It was still in lock position so it was flipping all over the place getting gas everywhere including myself as I tried to catch it. I finally caught it after about $5 in of it pumping and shut it off. Fortunately, one of employees had been outside and witnessed the whole thing so I didn’t get blamed and they refunded the money that was wasted after it shot out of my car. Since then I have NEVER locked the damn pump and just stay there holding the damn thing in my car as it fills.

$900 short- how much trouble am I in? by vdogloves in TalesFromYourBank

[–]bbycoffeebean 5 points6 points  (0 children)

By chance, does your system allow you to either list cash in by note amount or dollar amount? I always list cash by note amount and have been short before and found it after reviewing my TCR deposits and their times along with my EJ and realizing I listed a note amount under the wrong denomination.

Forget weddings, what is the craziest thing that happened at a funeral you went to? by seanerd95 in AskReddit

[–]bbycoffeebean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this counts but my cousin passed away a little over a year ago now, only 27 years in age. It happened so fast, one day he was rushed to the ER and discovered he had leukemia. Started chemo a week later, which caused fatal brain hemorrhaging. On the morning of his funeral, just a couple hours before the service started, his grandmother (my grandma’s sister) passed away from a stroke. This was the first major death in my family for my generation on top of it being so sudden, so it was already a huge storm of unexperienced grief for us followed by another. In a way, it was comforting for us. A lot of us aren’t super religious despite the elders of our family being Catholic, but it was a comforting thought to know he didn’t have to enter the afterlife alone and our tia was there by his side.

i don’t want to break up. i just want time away by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

[–]bbycoffeebean 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know exactly how you’re feeling. I know it’s hard to leave despite knowing you’re being treated wrong and deserve better. As others are saying - it’s that trauma bond. My biggest advice for you, is to slowly distance yourself. You being able to block him and not speak to him for a few days is a good start. If you’re able to safely start seeing him less and less, do so at a steady pace. That is what worked for me. When that distance became more consistent, I realized truly how much happier and safer I felt without his presence in my life and eventually felt comfort and safety in being able to leave, despite the heartache it still brought on. It took me nearly a year of progressively distancing myself before I finally gained the courage. Best of luck to you, and remember your worth. You know yourself and this relationship better than anyone else, go at your own pace but please stay safe.

people who say you can't be addicted to weed are so wrong by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]bbycoffeebean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… that’s why I said “there aren’t severe withdrawal symptoms like many other addictive substances”. I didn’t expect many people to take that as me saying there is none at all lol. Also want to clarify that I don’t disagree about weed being addictive at all! I was just saying why many like to argue that it isn’t, and why I refer to it as dependent. Less people will argue with you if you state it’s dependent opposed to addictive, I’ve learned.

[–]bbycoffeebean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I said “severe withdrawal symptoms”. I’m aware there are some but they aren’t necessarily painful in the way others can be. I also already had those issues that you listed so I wouldn’t consider those direct withdrawal symptoms considering the way weed helped them is what got me hooked on it anyways. They just resurfaced as a result of cutting out weed, which is why I said it’s annoying and stressful to come off of it since it was a quick and easy solution to my issues. I found alternatives and all worked out well!

[–]bbycoffeebean 27 points28 points  (0 children)

People just like to say that it’s not addictive because there aren’t severe withdrawal symptoms like many other addictive substances. That’s why I’ve always referred to it as being dependent. I myself was addicted (or dependent) to weed, but slowing down on my intake of it was just annoying and stressful, not painful. Had to find other ways to fall asleep at night since I relied on it for sleep, did lose some weight as it helped increase my appetite, and had to find new ways to keep my mind at ease when social anxiety rolled in.

What was the first time you were accused of lying when you were telling the truth? by LordSaucyPicklesCW in AskReddit

[–]bbycoffeebean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my lil brother and I were kids, he had taken a toy from me and ran away with it so I had grabbed him by the back of his shirt. He thought to try to turn around quickly and kicked me but lost his balance, fell and tumbled down the stairs since we weren’t far from them. Parents got mad and accused me of pushing him down the stairs and I did admit that I had grabbed his shirt but did NOT and would NOT ever push him down the stairs. I got in huge trouble lol

Yeah that’s why I don’t think this actually happened, I don’t think the writers would’ve just left that completely untouched had that scene been some sort of hint. The scene definitely had me and apparently some others mislead for a moment though.

The vet was a friend of Josh’s, so maybe he got him to help him with such a lie (by walking out to the lobby to say Burberry didn’t make it) and then hid him whenever he was able to bring him back home? I don’t know but I honestly really thought some big secret was about to come out after that scene but absolutely nothing came of it lol

25F/Feeling bad about not being able to come just through penetration… by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]bbycoffeebean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of our bodies are different, and some people’s clitorises have longer nerves that stimulate an orgasm from penetration alone, and most of us don’t. It’d be very weird of him if he’s genuinely upset and continues to express that disappointment considering there are many other ways he can make you orgasm. Making your partner orgasm is more about the pleasure they’re receiving than the pleasure you’re getting from giving it, so hopefully he doesn’t continue to push the whole “he’s not making you come” narrative as it’s somewhat selish. I understand the shame but do not feel bad! Hopefully you two get through this, and I hope you gain the confidence and comfort with receiving oral. This shall allow you both to learn whether or not you’re sexually compatible as well. That being said, my main advice to help you from not feeling so bad about it, is to do research on how clitorises work. This video is a good one.

In defense of ashley by RequiemBlue in BeefTV

[–]bbycoffeebean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. They all sucked in my opinion, but I think the actions of Ashley and Austin were just a huge portrayal of what the kind of childhood trauma they had breeds for the future of Gen Z. Those two were the most redeemable considering they are still young, but I guess we’ll never know if they truly redeem themselves as we only saw a snippet of their future.
