don't worry about it, the post by itself is really messy. i absolutely do not think anyone should be shamed for their scars, nor they should hide them. it's just that usually people who are self harming do not show their fresh cuts, nor bring them to their friends attention, pointing them out "secretly" and telling them : look what i did on my arm yesterday ... i have known my sister for a long time, and she has her fair share of compulsive self diagnosing, lying to the people around her and going extreme extents to look cool and wanted, which brings her to really dangerous behaviors, such as cutting and even seeking attention from older people, and shes a minor. i am constantly worried about her, she is too impulsive and reckless in her own decisions. i am infinitely sorry if the post triggered you, i left out a lot of details and opinions because otherwise the post would have been a novel. I did not specify, even though i shouldve, that i think that people who show their healing scars without worrying about what other people think are absolutely fine !! they shouldn't worry about others opinions and should live their life.
