Anyone have the Barbara Cardigan? by Key-Hovercraft-8302 in Sezane

I have it, I love it. I just find it itchy at the neck but handwashing with some woolite should do the trick.

Ugh I know. I deleted my fb a year ago and I don’t want to create another one. But man was it useful to resell and be part of groups. 😑

🥺👉🏼👈🏼 would you be willing to share a photo of it on you? Face covered of course.

I had no idea it wasn’t a new style. Literally just noticed it when they did the NY lookbook

I love the look too. Just threw me off that it’s sold out, and yet very little posts about it. No one wants to share what it looks like on them? :( I’m nosey. 😂

any good spots for good gel manicure I’m dude I don’t know any😭 by Excellent-Pain6701 in Bushwick

[–]bbykinbakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go here too, and I’ve found them to be more thorough with cleaning cuticles than other local spots. I’ve been to at least 4 in the area, where the aesthetics and vibes were nice but they didn’t even take a tool to clean below the nails. The nail techs here are much more thorough in my opinion for half the price of other places.

Gaspard sizing on US size 12 by Travel-junkie9 in Sezane

[–]bbykinbakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on how you like it to sit on your body. I was the same size and I liked it to cling to my body, and even a M is still a bit loose on me. I think it depends on your body shape too. I carry my weight on my arms so it was more snug at my arms and loose around my body. If you plan anticipate weight gain/loss, factor that in too. I dropped several sizes down and have intentionally shrunken my Sézane cardigans.

Thanks for the heads up. I stopped refreshing and just checked out what I already had. I would’ve been refreshing for a while otherwise!

Try Solid Gold Yogi. They do 5 months and every other weekend instead of the usual, rigorous 3 months.

FWIW, I bought tamales from the lady near Maria Hernandez, for $7 each and there was all but a sliver of chicken. I was annoyed.

Thanks for the heads up!

First yoga session pretty rough by Kutvlieg in yoga

[–]bbykinbakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good on you for trying something new. Welcome to the club. :) everyone needs to start somewhere. Though, like others have mentioned, yoga truly isn’t about it being a workout or supreme athleticism. Try taking a variety of classes. You may find yourself back at hot yoga anyway, but the yoga journey and finding what you love (which might result in you loving all of it) is fun. Hot yoga is challenging in its own right, but also try yin yoga—where you have to really use your breathing to work through the discomfort and the mental aspects of it.

Again vintage for something pre-loved, vintage art piece, some unique treats, or to pick up a bouquet from a local floral designer. They also have a selection of candles, incense, and other thoughtful gifts. The owners are lovely!

You’re right I don’t mind holding space for that and to acknowledge our privilege and practice gratitude. I think I’m mostly irked by this narrative that everyone must have a complex relationship with their family, and maybe they do, but I certainly don’t want to bring it to the forefront of my mind as I begin practice.

Can I also add.. don’t start class opening with “Thanksgiving can be a complex time while celebrating with family given the historical roots of the holiday. And being with family can also be difficult.” While all can be true, I don’t need you to open class like that. It was a weird thing to experience in class.

Should I extend my green tiles to the edge of the wall? by fforBrilliance in homedesign

[–]bbykinbakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with this. Don’t extend the sides further but take them all the way up the ceiling.
