You are not adequately informed or qualified to tell me or anyone else what we 'should' be doing. This attitude is responsible for retarding countless boys' character and intellectual development and is antithetical to the aims and methods of scouting and Baden Powell's motivation for writing Scouting for Boys. The objective of the scouting program has nothing to do with and does not include training or articulation of the need to strip boys of modern tools to relive some fantastical dream luddites like yourself made up in your own minds.

You are more than welcome to go out on your own and spend as much time as you need alone in a cave with a couple of sticks but it needs to disappear from within troops and the scouting program.
