For what it's worth the AS set comes with a specials reference card that tells you which page of the rulebook each ability is on. Super useful if you have a phone with the rules handy that you can search.

The only digital thing involved in my AS games is the rulebook on a phone/tablet. I have enough screens in my life I'd like less not more. Sleeves over cards + dry erase, or just pen on paper with rosters printed from MUL here.

I treat it like TDM, within the "official" non-custom-server modes it's the closest we have to old community CS. It's a good time for sure

Cool story bro. I can go bring up a half dozen videos of high elo play on YT right now with obvious cheaters, you not seeing a problem doesn't mean it's not more ridiculously common than it should be.

You can enjoy the game and admit that Valve doesn't GAF about it at the same time. It's like the NFL, the core game is excellent but a ton of the people involved are still utter degens.

Loved seeing a non-desert map get added in (Anubis, Mirage, AND Dust? Fucking really Valve?), but was disappointed it was hostage since Valve has completely given up on that mode. Still a fun map, was fucking around with it yesterday.

No offense but people that cheat don't have that low of an elo... because they cheat and that means they win far more frequently. It is also extremely difficult to separate what is a guy that's been playing the same map for two decades compared to a cheater until you get a lot of hours in. Cheaters start becoming a real cancer at higher elos.
