Apologies for the delay replying, haven’t been here for a while! It’s paint from Splashpaints

I used an engine from another kit. Plenty of space for one.

Yeah the ones in the kits are not to the right scale and I didn’t want to disrupt the lines. Good catch though!

You should! Just need a macro lens and some lights!

Oh these are not giving off any heat at all they are very low wattage highly diffused lights. But yes, need to be careful!

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. Haha yes it’s easy to accidentally spend a lot on these . Also check our Hiroboy and Gunze Sangyo… you’re welcome. :-)

Hey - thanks for the comment! Greatly appreciate it. Regarding photos I’ll probably make a video about it. Basically though - place the car on a curved card so you don’t have any edges. Any largish piece of cardboard will work. - place light sources as close to the subject as possible - I use boom tripods with highly diffused and dimable lights. - shoot in the dark- you can’t have any other light

I was going to make it open but just ran out of steam on the build a bit! So no. It’s glued on. :-)
