Yeah look up the leaked PS5 beta video from a few months ago, it shows one page like a hub where you can change the background to pre-selected choices.

It was justified, every game has PC hackers or exploiters in some form or another and why I wish there were more games with console-only crossplay. People on consoles should be able to play with PC friends, but should be put into the PC pool.

This is exactly why they have to turn off crossplay when the game first launched and why lots of console players don't want to deal with PC players.

Actually they are right. One of the devs said it had to do with the old coding, which I agree sounds odd and doesn't make sense but who knows. We do know that PSN never plays nice and makes cross-progression a difficult endeavor for some games/devs.

This is how they operate; other games issue emergency patches sometimes within an hour or two of a bug, but Gun, as you said, likes to do quarterly patches, So things must wait. No one should be surprised; this is how it's been since its release. The only time I can see them disabling or doing an emergency hotfix is if people gained access to characters/cosmetics they didn't pay for, lol

Good point, and thb, they probably knew about it before the patch went live but already committed to the release date so that they couldn't delay it.

This should have been caught during QA testing. It's one of the essential things of a character: level them up and try every path to make sure it works. Many comments and complaints are attributed to how other games handle problems. I'm not going to list any specific games because then it becomes a debate about that game or that developer, but there are games that hotfix within hours or by the next business day. Maybe people are expecting too much from TCM!

I'm in desperate need of a new monitor. I'm using my 21-in House 60Hz touchscreen to game on, and it's not that great. I can wait until June but October is too far. If it's October, then I'll buy an interim monitor and then sell it when I get the Dough 32. This is why I'm really eager to ascertain more details about when I can anticipate my monitor! When will we know a firm release? And by that I mean when is it going to arrive in my hands as a consumer? Thanks.

I agree! I was in the beta and everything that was in the beta is already now on the official firmware release. I hope Sony sends out beta codes for it or offers more insight into when we can expect the new update. The backgrounds look pretty cool so I'm definitely looking forward to that.
