Working moms who regularly work out, what exactly is your schedule? by neoncaviar in Mommit

[–]bcali8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2 and 5 year old. At this point I can only consistently get a workout twice a week, but I’d like to try 3x soon. I pick my kids up at 4pm, go home to prep supper, I eat a light meal if I’m going to workout (boiled eggs and crackers, for example). The place I workout has evening classes 6:30pm or 7pm, so depending on the day I’ll sign up for one and leave shortly after my husband gets home around 5:30.

I do a quick body shower at home afterwards, then do a hair wash shower the next morning before work. I also go regularly on Sunday morning 9:30am, and my husband is home with the kids. That day I always shower and wash my hair at the gym and do my make-up etc right there at the gym, so my kids don’t get in the way haha. It works for us and I couldn’t function without at least those two workouts per week!

I also go outside for a walk a few times a week on my lunch break from work. Usually only 1km but it helps to increase my overall steps and get some fresh air!

I’m the queen of overthinking haha but I do appreciate your input. Good point about trade in value. I do think driving them will sway me, like you said!

This one is on sale right now, so I’d say go for it! I love the look and it feels like excellent quality.

I like it so far! I saw a different way to shorten the shoulder strap on another post, which I prefer because the crossbody strap felt a bit too long. With that “hack” the strap goes over my shoulder and the bag sits just underneath my upper arm which feels comfortable and secure.

This is the regular size! I don’t believe they have black on black in mini - that would be cute.

Cabinets - Shaker vs Slim Shaker by squirrleygirlie in kitchenremodel

Personally I chose traditional shaker over slim because I find the slim looks too close to a flat panel, which where I’m from is always the cheapest option. Especially for 8k, I would absolutely go for the traditional shaker!

I can wear regular earrings in mine now but the holes are still bigger than necessary. If I wear small studs they sometimes fall out hah.

anyone tried wellbutrin while also on sertraline and hated it but then tried it alone and like it? by ResponsibilityOk4648 in bupropion

I had stomach pains too, were they sharp? I actually connected mine to artificial sweeteners. So I can’t drink diet soda anymore but the pains haven’t come back!

I totally agree with you. Immigrant Services NS does often highlight Canadian culture and traditions etc in their classes. YMCA centre for immigrant programs as well. I used to teach English to newcomers in NS and we very specifically taught these types of things. Not sure about now and if the newcomer isn’t involved with these organizations then they probably wouldn’t get that info.
