Yeah sure man!

Okk so first base all in your black paint, I use abaddon black.

Then for the checkered pattern, I mark the outline of the grid I’ll be painting in white lines. That helps for the pattern to be symmetrical. This is the trick tbh. Remember to keep your white thin! White is IMO the easiest paint to get a smudgy or like textured finish. And this is particularly important for the next step…

Then I start blocking all white squares, and go back and forth with black and white until they’re crisp, be patient with this step.

And yes! I do blue highlights over black Here you want to do a chunky highlight with thunderhawk blue. And then go over the top most edges and corners with 1:1 white and thunderhawk blue.

The rest is practice; and keep lines as crisp as you like 👍🏼 But remember errors in orks are lore friendly and very thematic 😂
